  • great doors!
Size: 34x80in
So I'm actually really impressed with the customer service. I was going to get them just three stars but the customer service outranks that in my opinion. We got two doors that were super heavy duty and super easy to put together and had all the parts, the third door didn't have all the parts but the customer service is actually going to send me the parts that did not come in that one box. Really impressed on how they worked with me. Highly recommend these doors. They are real wood and even I could put them together, and I am 5'1. I definitely needed somebody to help me move them because they are pretty heavy duty. I can't wait to stain them and get them in. ... show more

  • Barndoor
I have older home with rustic, ruff, dark wood and brick inside and doorway was not a standard size. I thought barndoor would be good, but I looked for a long time to find one that only needed a small amount shaved off to fit. I also had to find a barn door that could work with a normal hinge instead of slider. I found the manufacturer's YouTube video with good directions. It was easy to assemble. The dark stain took well to the wood. The barndoor isn't ruff wood like the door framework but the door blends well. It looks great! ... show more

  • Insta-door!
Who knew you could buy a ready-to-assemble barn door that was actually extremely sturdy and hefty? Welp, this one is all it claims to be and more! Super easy to follow instructions with diagrams! Took about an hour to put together solo. It didn’t mention gluing the joints, but I chose to do that probably added some time to the job. My one complaint is that one of the tall frame boards is bowed, so that when the door is hanging from the rail, the bottom right edge bows inward slightly, causing that edge to rub the baseboard when the door is op bed or closed. No way to remedy this as the board is clearly warped. My advice is to inspect integrity of the wood before assembling. I took away 1 star for this defect. ... show more

  • High quality heavy doors. Easy to put together and stain
We love our barn wood doors. I chose these based on the ability to stain and finish the doors with any color of my choice. Our floors are natural hardwood oak from the 1920s and are beautifully restored. I used the exact same stain on the doors that were used for our floors. Because of the different type of wood the stain didn’t pick up the exact same as our floors but that’s ok because I didn’t want it to be an exact match. The doors look amazing in our home. We bought 2 sets of doors. One for the dining room and the other for the library. ... show more

  • Defective from start to finish
The door came with defective pieces. Some twisted, bowed, or cut wrong. Contacted the seller. The seller sent those pieces. After gluing and assembling of the door, which was easy to do, I noticed they sent a side board (stile) without holes for the hanging hardware. I thought no problem I can drill them. I started to mark the holes when I realized the holes were going to be in line with the screws that hold the door together. His poses a problem when you need to place the bolts through the door. They owned up to the problem after contacting Amazon Customer Service. They sent a whole new door. You would think a Quality controller would look before sending. Received more defective boards. They sent replacement boards that were needing a table saw to fix; dadoes and rabbets needed to be cut on the panel boards. We also had to glue a couple of areas and take glue residue from tape where they glued pieces together. We are planning on doing Shou Sugi Ban with a colored stain. Pictures to follow. After the aggravation this product looks good and very sturdy. The installation will be a breeze with this light weight (40lb) door. ... show more

  • Not bad and fun to assemble
Size: 30x84in
Pretty much just as described and shown. Wood was good quality. Nothing warped. All pieces fit. Instructions are ikea like. Some parts poorly labeled. Some parts labels are not shown in the instructions. But it’s all pretty straightforward and easy to figure out, hence the fun. The three cross pieces are not interchangeable. Bottom piece is the one with the channel all the way across the bottom for the bottom guide. Top channel has one smooth side for top of door. Remember to match predrilled hole on side pieces for the hanging hardware (both on top obviously). Not sure point of foam on inside channels. I guess to stop any rattling of pieces but they hold the slats apart on final assembly and create a gap between side pieces and cross pieces. I left it since gap didn’t bother me on rustic look. I agree with others that included long screws are of poor quality. East to strip Philips head. I recommend starting them with a drill screw driver to about half way and finishing by hand with a lot of steady down pressure. Careful with the small screws. They can easily split the wood. Overall quite happy and would recommend. ... show more

  • Barn Door
Easy to assemble! Looks great!

  • Decent door, but doesn't match all rail hardware
Pros: The door parts are well made and fit together well to make a reasonably solid door. Cons: The foam strips double-sided taped to the sides of the outboard planks in the center of the door fell off because the surface was obviously dusty and the tape didn't stick. Holes are pre-drilled in the door for rail hanger brackets but not for the door handle, which is odd because the door handle is supplied, but hanger brackets aren't. The rail kit I bought (separately) had hanger brackets with mounting holes which matched the spacing of the holes in the door which sounds great, but the holes in the door are in the wrong location (top hole 1.5" from the top of the door, not the 2" I needed) so, if I used the predrilled holes, the bottom of the door sat on the floor and the wheels didn't touch the rail. The right hole location for the rail kit I bought would make two of the mounting bolts pass through screws holding side rail on the door. I found this out after fully assembling the door and it took me about 4 hours to rework the door to accept the hanger brackets. One of the cross brace pieces was pretty badly damaged, but we weren't planning to use them (they're just cosmetic) There seems to be a lot of filler in one of the center planks. I'm hoping it takes stain (haven't got to that stage yet). The door is also a little twisted but it looks good and is pretty solid; Overall, for the price, it's not bad. ... show more
