  • Will fit husqvarna yth 18542
I got this kit for the wheel bearings for my husqvarna yth 18542 mower and came with thrust bearings also. The wheel bearings fit perfectly but the thrust bearings were a little big on the ID. I put them on anyway because it didnt look like it would hurt anything. Got it all back togeather and it did tighten up the steering and seemed to turn in a tighter circle.as far as steering more easily i really couldnt see a big improvement. At the end of the day it tightened up my steering and got rid of the bushings and all at a low price so i would recommend it for that but dont expect power steering. UPDATE: I had another look at it and saw the top washer would turn but was binding just a little with the e clip. So i took it back apart and removed the factory washer from the bottom of the spindle and that improved it a lot now i can steer it with one finger like others have said. So, on the husqvarna yth 18542 you do hqve to remove the factory washer before you install the thrust bearings. Im much happier now with the results. ... show more

  • Craftsman T3000, no real install issues and noticeable improvement in ease of steering
INSTALL: Craftsman (/Husqvarna/AYP) T3000 tractor - 2015 era. No sig issues with install, bearings banged right in - reused original inner, outer washers and caps on wheels. Had to reuse original bottom washer on steering spindle vice supplied one (which was thicker) - not enough clearance otherwise to get the clip back on. THE RIDE: As others have stated - OMG. This mower was billed as "Turn Tight" - 6" turn radius, but always took some not insignificant muscling to get it around - this upgrade essentially finally realizes the potential of that small turn radius - SO much easier. I'm cutting small patches of uneven grass at several different levels on an Appalachian hillside - short runs with LOTS of tight turns - the bearings are a game changer for this application. DURABILITY: I greased the axles and steering spindles liberally, it's obvious that the edges of the spindle bearing race are kind of exposed to the grit - guess we'll see how much of that works it's way inside to the bearings over time. Overall - good kit and well worth the time/money invested. I didn't even know this was a thing until I ran across a YT video. ... show more

  • Seems like a quality product cheap enough to give it a try
Seems like a quality product easy to install fair price I personally didn’t notice any difference I installed this on a brand new Husqvarna Garden tractor not sure of the model number I think it’s TS 48 something not sure but it’s a twin cylinder Kawasaki 24 hp tractor and it steers fairly easy on its own without this installed but I have had 3 garden tractors lose their steering over the years hopping this prolongs it life ... show more

  • Must Have for any Wheels with Bushings!
If you have a mower with 3/4 inch spindles and wheels with bushings, then hurry and purchase this and you will never have to buy spindles or bushings ever again! This kit is simple to install a d fits various models with ease. Just pop out your factory bushings, insert bearings in rim and use the trust washers with the needle bearings on each side of wheel. Use the small washer on the inside and the large washer in the outside (that is what holds the dust caps on. Absolutely, no play in wheels sided to side. The roller thrust bearings really make this kit better than the others! ... show more

  • Perfect upgrade for a 2012 husqvarna lawn tractor
These made a world of difference on a 2012 husqvarna mower. Everything was straight forward and easy to install..the only thing that took any effort was getting the bushings out of the front wheel hubs. Now the older lady I installed them for can easily turn the tractor while driving. They do not really help much while the tractor is sitting still and that has nothing to do with these its just the nature of the tractor. The bhub bearings make the front tires spin so smooth and have very little resistance. They actually included 2 sets of thrust bearings for the axle so if they wear out anytime in the future I can replace them with the extra set(but with maintenance and grease I don't think that will be for quite a while ... show more

  • Not for cub cadet xt1 lt42
Will not fit a cub cadet xt1 lt42. Some reason cub cadet welded the spindles to the I beam, if I ever have to replace spindles it won't be cheap so I can't say how well this item would be

  • Fits Husqvarna YTH24K48
Great kit for the money. Shim bearings made the steering a little easier. Pretty easy installation. New wheel bearings were snug as they should be so they stay in. You will have to press them in or use a rubber or brass hammer to tap them in. There is only dust covers for the wheels.. I used a heat gun to take off the axle dust caps, luckily I was able to reheat them and use again. Everything else was included with this kit. Nice upgrade. Instead of metal bushings you now have bearings. ... show more
