Aside the fact that I'm a Ryobi fan, this product is wonderful. First of all it has the proper weight for you to "feel it", but without being heavy after some hours of work. Very good design (one of the few tools I see that the toolkey is hidden in the side handle, making it easy to find). This tool feels unbelievably beefy to hold ! The onboard wrench is a nice feature. Just seems well made like the other over dozen now of these 18 volt One cordless tools I use on a regular basis as a contractor . Everyone of them is innovative and performs like a champ , and so nice that the batteries all interchange and store a lot of charge . The onboard is a very big plus for me too . I have surely been through every brand of tool since I started my business in 1975 , and this line of tools compares well to all of them, even the most expensive name brands .You just can't beat the value of these tools . Thank you Ryobi . You make my life easier and my business more profitable . And no one paid me anything to say these things . ... show more

    • Handy and well built.
For my use portability is more important than speed. A corded cut off tool spins at 12000 rpm and cuts faster and costs less. But there is that darned cord that I trip on and cut into at the wrong times. A cordless is not as fast but it is certainly portable. It works great and I'm well satisfied. I have a 2ah battery that I use with my drill, light, saw and string trimmer and that pack drives the grinder fine. I did purchase a 4ah battery pack to go with this tool because the larger battery pack gives more grinding time and the grinder is a power hog. True to the concept of the Ryobi 18+ system, the tools, batteries and chargers interchange perfectly. ... show more

This product is great. I didn't realize that the Dewalt cutoff wheels listed in the "frequently purchased together" section don't fit this grinder.

Wouldn't want to show up on A Job with out one of these, I use the 4 inch sanding disc a lot for sharpening tools sanding window jambs that are too tight and so one .

Nice tool! Now it's not a plug in 120 volt high end angle grinder, Butt,, for quick jobs, the cordless aspect is totally sweet!!! I rarely write a review, Buttt I thought they didn't include the "spanner wrench" so I was gonna complain 2 them. However I did something that 99.9 % of men would never do,,,,,I read the instructions!!!! The spanner tool is located in the handel! Make a note of that fact!!! Now if you are a professional bridge builder, or erecting a sky scraper, buy a Bosh, or equivalent 120 volt tool. If you use it only a couple of times a year, like me, (& now I'll use it more, BC its soooo convenient), get this tool!!! You throw in the battery ( I'm all in on the battery that fits in everything thing), I got 5 of there tools. Then crawl under your truck & cut off that muffler clamp, & use a flapper wheel 2 clean up a messy Mig weld! They ain't paying me 4 this, Butt if Ryobi sees this, send me something 4 free!!!! Also, I absolutely love the hot-glue gun & the caulk gun,,, other things you will only use a few times a year, you just pull it out, you feel like the "King" of the home owner Kingdom!!!!! They got this down 4 sure..... ... show more
