Features

  • 25 FOOT COIL is ideal for many drains found throughout the home. Capable of reaching into the bathtub, sink, toilet, and more
  • ALL IN ONE: Unlike some drain augers, which require a drill for proper use, the P4001 has a built in motor that extends and retracts the auger
  • TWO DRIVING MODES: Auto-Feed pushes the cable forward while cable clamp mode keeps the cable locked in place to bore through tough spots
  • INCLUDED FEET keep the vibrating tool from scuffing up your floor or counter in addition to keeping a stable base for more efficient work
  • ONE+ COMPATIBLE: Works with Ryobi One+ 18V Batteries including the P100, P101, P102, P103, P104, P105, P107, and P108

Description

Pipes around the home can clog with hair, food matter, or any amount of other nasty particles. Having these clogged means that your systems will back up, resulting in discomfort and poor conditions that allow bacteria to grow. You can keep yourself and those living with you safe without having to spend loads of money on a plumber. The Ryobi P4001 is an all-in-one drain auger that works with One+ batteries. It doesn’t need an external drill like many other drain augers from competing brands. Simply switch between auto-feed and reverse, and this tool will do the work for you! For tougher jobs, you can activate an auto-feed locking mechanism that locks the cable in one place, letting you rip through a particularly tough patch of clogged pipe. Whether you’re a professional or a DIYer looking to get quality plumbing work done in your home, the Ryobi P4001 is the tool for you.

  • Fast and efficient against clog…
I was not excited that I had to clear a clog but was so glad that this equipment did it fast and easy… I am not a plumber but made me feel good that I clear the clog and didn’t have to call someone else to do it.. Be patient when using and go slow so not to send clog everywhere.

  • THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!
Don't talk to me about not being able to send this back! You CAN'T have it back!!! I marked the auger at 20ft so I don't go past it or at least know. I had 2 manual augers one a 50ft and the other a 10ft but thinner auger. I could not get either one down my bathtub drain line. The tub was sitting with water and took over 10 hours to drain out. The last time a plumber snaked the line was 4-6 years ago and it has been a while since I saw that whirlpool in the drain!! It pulled a gob of hair back up and presto!!! I got a whirpool again!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! I LOVE YOU RYOBI!!! ... show more

  • Works but careful what size auger you require
It got something unstuck. The thing got stuck again the following week. I am now happy to own this but would like to find a more pemanent solution than biweekly augers. My shower drain didn't take the whole auger but it seemed to work. I fiddled around after some videos and think I finally figured how to more quickly roll it back in. It has some great features to include the water drain panel. I like how easy it is to clean, as well as that I can interchange my power packs with other Ryobi appliances. That's awesome! Currently have three devices, and this fits my level of need for tools. ... show more

  • It’s better than I expected.
Supper easy to get in the all 25 feet long. Don’t need to push hard. Just hold it tight and the motor will do the rest for you.

  • Good tool bad user manual
It seems when tools like this are made in foreign countries they give you a manual that is made as inexpensive as possible. Lots of warnings so the legal staff they have can get the company off the hook. In fairness to the manufacturer the Darwin Awards would probably cover some person who would misuse it in some insane way. My complaint centers on a lack of communication which would easily be covered by including a DVD on how to use it. And so my fellow DYI's that answer is YouTube once again. The videos posted on the site were very helpful. As for the performance of the tool It quickly unblocked a drain line that the dishwasher is connected to. Worth the price but now I have to remember to charge the battery every now and then. For a battery operated tool this is one I would recommend since it has the power to drive the auger. ... show more

  • Product arrived Used
Received the auger today, and instantly could tell it was already used. Unit was out of the wrapping inside the box, box was taped closed. Unit has wear and tear on it. There’s even clumps of hair on the auger line that says that someone previously used it and sent it back. Auger line has signs of rust already, and I haven’t even used it. ... show more

  • It works okay
Its a nice auger setup. Yet it is not the easiest auger to work. You think its spooling out but it gets stuck and you think You've hit something and its nothing. Difficult to get it to go around bends as it takes minutes at times in which for comparison I got out the old snake to see if it was just my technique or the units. The old snake got around easy peesy and I finished that drain with the old snake. After a few times using the unit {I manage multi rooming houses and my handy man got the virus so I got plenty of practice} I got used to it but still on some drains found myself just spinning the coil. I also paid $90 for an item thirty percent more expensive than the standard cost. I recommend u don't do that and google Ryobi and find for yourself the reality of the prices. I like Ryobi a lot and have many tools and battery's from them. That's why I bought this one ... show more
