When this product arrived, I opened everything up to inspect. I noticed right away the wires were ran completely opposite of its color coding on the screw heads. Nothing matched. If I had wired this according the wiring color, it would have immediately fried, the whole system on my truck. Better quality control can prevent this. Know what your doing, if you're taking on this type of a project, on your own. Otherwise, a Very good Product. Durable protective coating, sealed box, with plenty of options for leads. Even comes with a Pigtail Mount, for when not in use. Very Useful.

This item is for emergency purposes and I hope it will never be be necessary for use , but if it’s is I’m certain it will perform as it was designed with longevity and sturdiness in mind , emergency brakes for my horse trailer.

Installed on a trailer rebuild, very easy to install inside the trailer frame, mated up with the truck outputs, easy to connect with the rest of the trailer harness. Personally I could have gotten away with a much shorter whip. 8ft is a lot of wire. I will probably shorten.

I haven't confirmed plug pin positions but the wire colors are off the only one correct is white for ground. They are clearly labeled in the junction block that's a big help. When I did color to color it would have been a real mess. Thank goddess they had clear to read labeling in the box. I order the 8 foot I wish I had gotten 10 better to order longer then needed and coil the excess for future repairs to the plug end

I had been having a lot of problems with the old trailer wiring harness. It had the old type wires that screwed into the connector. I have a hard time figuring out what pin goes to which wire, and I’m I looking at it correctly or like a mirror??. This harness eliminates that problem - all the lights and the brakes worked on the first try. Great high quality product that is easy to install. I plan to install these on my other trailers and eliminate trips to the trailer repair shop! I saved $200 on this one- a local shop quoted 300 parts and labor.
