Worked great with the Victor 2460 I use. It arrived with the +5 lens installed so I saved the +10 for backup. Works great and fit over my frameless prescription glasses with ease.

Bought these less than a month ago. Very pleased with goggles especially the flip up feature and large single viewing area. Only issue I have is when I finally opened the spare #10 tinted glass, I discovered it was broken. it's marked 10 JY 1CEANSI Z87. I need instructions to arrange for a replacement. ... show more

This was exactly what I was looking for as welding goggles and makes it safe to use during welding operations. Very easy to install and change out for other glass of both darker and lighter for my various welding needs. These goggles are easier to use than my helmet which can get cumbersome to use.

  • Not for welding
Color: Hammerhead | Green | Shade #5
Lenses were scratched, looked used. The lense is not dark enough to stick weld. Maybe good for cutting or grinding.

  • Well-made and comfortable with a wide strap
Color: Hammerhead | Green | Shade #5
There are times when it's easier and quicker to oxy-acetylene weld something compared to dealing with the mig or tig welder, extension cords and all that. My 30 year old gas welding goggles finally fell apart, so I ordered these. They seem to be every bit as good as the old ones, and they have vents which might keep the lens from fogging up, even though I've never had that problem. The strap is fairly wide, which works well and is comfortable. It remains to be seen how the strap will hold up; they all seem to stretch out too easily. We shall see. You can get a roll of that stretchy strap material right here on Amazon in the width that fits these (the ones I received use a 1/2 inch to 9/16 inch, .5 inch to .6 inch, or 12 to 15mm wide strap). Search "elastic band strap sewing". I always use a magnifying ("cheater") lens, and the frameless ones fit in this - but the lenses with the plastic or hard rubber frame are too thick. Those are for arc welding helmets, not gas welding goggles. Like most gas welding goggles, these come with a shade 5 lens. Welding is easier and turns out better when you can see what you're doing so use clear lens protectors and don't use a grimy shop rag to clean your lenses. Overall I think these should work well and I expect them to last a long time. ... show more
