This motor appears to be quite heavy duty. Change out is actually quite simple also. For the cost of it if you do a lot of camping it would be a good idea to have an extra on hand, save being stranded with awning out or having to hand roll it back in. Simple electrical connection, plug and play.

Okay so this is just perfect. I have a Solera awning and the motor failed. I called Lippert and they had a motor available but I wasn’t a fan of the price. Weeks later this became available and so I jumped on it and ordered it right away. This is a direct fit, It seems the same to me as far as sound and speed, like the original one I removed.     • Nice to have a spare.
Awning motors rarely fail at a convenient time, so having a spare is an excellent idea. We had one fail on our last RV and they can be a pain to mess with if you don't have a spare on hand, and have to order one. Anything to make life easier.

The media could not be loaded. From just under 5v to 12, this motor was very responsive and showed no signs of stress The ability to manually operate if necessary adds a little peace of mind. I'm happy with this motor as of this review, and will update with further use.

Used to replace a Lipert 373566 motor. Operation is quiet and smooth. Easy replacement after replacing connectors. ( My connectors were different but I knew that) Would certainly buy again.
