This backup camera was super easy to install using the pre wired mount on my new travel trailer using the provided mounting bracket with the camera. The important thing to know is that once you plug your trailer into your tow vehicle the camera WILL NOT WORK without the tow vehicle lights being turned on. This isn’t a problem because I always run my headlights while towing since my truck doesn’t have daytime running lights. We recently purchased this Yakry rear view camera system for our Ford F350 pick-up truck and Adventurer 910DB slide-on camper. I had researched camera systems for a while and had never heard of Yakry before. We purchased a 2-camera set-up that can expand to 4 cameras in total. Yakry provided a free wireless license plate camera and extended range antenna after the initial purchase, so we have a total of 3 cameras. This package provided a great value compared to another system we had purchased from another online (rear view camera only) retailer--theirs never paired properly (had to return it) and cost twice as much for only 2 cameras. Although we haven't taken this system for a long trip yet, we will be doing so in another week or so. It will have a couple of thousand miles to perform well thorugh about 5 states. I'm giving the system 4 stars so far, since we haven't completely put it through its paces yet--not because of anything lacking in the system. I've tested all 3 cameras, and they all work well at this point. The pictures are very sharp, but I haven't tested night vision yet. Our old system posed a challenge for me while wearing prescription sunglasses--the polarized lenses in the glasses didn't work well with the monitor--couldn't see it. So, I'll be curious to see how this new system works with polarized sunglasses under driving conditions. The 2 initial cameras were paired with the monitor from the beginning, so only the license plate camera needed to be paired. Once I located the instructions from the 2 camera system, pairing the 3rd camera was very easy--just follow the directions! The system came with plenty of power cords and cigarette lighter options as well as connectors and screws to mount the cameras to the brackets. The cameras are all made of metal--no plastic on any of them (even the license plate camera). I chose to use pop rivets to mount my camera to the camper, so that it would be difficult for someone to steal it. Once the bracket was installed, and the holes sealed with silicone, the unit connected easily and was operational. All-in-all, I'm pleased with this purchase; however, I'll reserve that 5th star for our upcoming trip. Updated 6-16-21 We completed our 2,300 mile trip from Denver to Oklahoma City, to Kingsland (TX) and back. This camera system worked very well the entire trip. I'm very pleased with the picture quality, the price for 3 cameras, the lack of excessd wiring I didn't need, and the 3rd camera that added rear view capablity from a license plate vantage point. That camera is aimed directly at the ball hitch, and makes hooking up our boat very easy. It's got a field of view that also provides a good look around either side of the ball hitch, so you can see cars on either side of the boat as you're driving. I'm giving this the 5th star, and I don't do that without justification. I'm hoping this sytem continues to perform for many years to come.

Easy to install. Super clear view on the camera monitor and I think this is going to be a great asset to my towing cross country. My only note is that if your camper is pre-wired for a camera it only works when the lights are on.

I recently purchased and installed this camera system for my 29ft travel trailer. I travel consistently for work and decided a camper was a much more cost efficient method of travel rather than constant flights and rental cars. After my first work trip which was thirteen hours to and from with the camper, I decided a backup camera might be helpful, and boy was I correct. I am astonished at how helpful it was having a camera on the back of my trailer. Although I have not used it specifically for backing up or reversing into any spots, I have used it constantly for lane changing and monitoring my turns with the trailer. Installation was not difficult, but due to the plethora of mounting parts (screws, adapter/bracket), I viewed the instructional YouTube installation video via the QR code in the very limited manual provided with the product and it was helpful for a better understanding of the wiring and monitor setup. According the manufacturer my travel trailer was "camera ready" as you will see on the sticker near the camera in the third image. Unfortunately I am unsure exactly was "camera ready" means since there were absolutely no wires ran for this "feature". Fortunately, since I viewed the installation video, I was able to splice into my clearance lights located directly above the camera using the splice connectors provide with the camera which was VERY helpful. Mounting the monitor inside was a task. Since I am not a fan of mounting anything to my truck dash, I opted to use the provided window/glass suction cup mount instead of the bracket with 3M type mounting tape. Unfortunately, after multiple attempts, in various locations, I was unable to properly secure the monitor. I believe the monitor is just too much weight for the suction cup. Even when I mounted the suction cup in a location in which the bottom of the monitor would rest on the dash, any turns or bumps would cause the suction cup to release and the monitor to fall (fourth image). The resolution for the mounting was to use a different suction cup type mount I had from a previous phone holder. This phone holder suction cup mount has a reusable adhesive type application which does not leave residue when removed and it is extremely strong (first and second image). As for the use and quality, I would have to give this system 3.5 to 4 stars based on my 12 hours of usage so far. See PROS and CONS below. CONS * Camera randomly loses connection while driving "No Source" displays on screen. This usually corrects itself within 5 to 10 seconds. The distance between the camera on the rear of my trailer and the monitor on the dash of my truck is approximately 48 feet. * Camera lags often, stream will slow or pause for a few seconds and then correct itself by either disconnecting/reconnecting within seconds ("No Source"), or by playing "catch-up" in which the stream will speed up quickly and then restore to normal operation. This is difficult in many ways because I purchased this camera to provide me with real-time situational awareness for the blind spot behind my trailer. Although I can simply wait for the feed to correct itself before I change lanes, this has proved to be an unfortunate shortfall due to the consistency of this issue. * Understandably during/following this lag issue, the quality of the image is reduced significantly until the connection is completely restored. * Monitor mounting equipment (window/glass suction cup method) is subpar. Monitor proves to be too heavy for effective use of the suction cup. I have not attempted to use the mounting bracket with the 3M type adhesive so I cannot provide an opinion on this method. PROS * Fairly easy installation of camera on trailer with the helpfulness of much mounting and splicing hardware. * Quality of both camera and monitor seem very well made * Monitor functions such as pairing the camera, changing views, etc. seem to work very well and are fairly self explanatory. Overall, I believe a 3.5 to 4 star review is accurate based on what I have experienced so far with the camera system, and although there are quite a few downfalls, so far it has been helpful on multiple occasions.

This Blue Tooth Camera set and a monitor are just fabulous. They are worth for the money spent to ensure for a safety road trip feature. The Camera and the Video Monitor are automatically paired after they are wired and turn ON. I am so impressed with the HD resolution, IR night vision, waterproof camera and super bright image of the video camera. The design feature, size of the camera, the monitor, the mounting brackets and hardware and a detailed Installation Instruction made it very quick and easy for installation. Camera can be always ON or turn OFF from the lit Cigarette socket switch.
