We ordered this item and it came with the two grommets pulled out of the bottom of the screen. We returned it for a new one. The second screen came and we have used it five days and the two middle grommets are pulled out of the fabric. We have contacted the manufacturer regarding this defect and they have been wonderful and accommodating. The manufacturer told us they are working with their R&D Department to correct the grommet issue. The rest of the screen is made of high quality materials. The screen is easy to install and we really like it. The manufacturer is refunding our money. Prior to purchasing this product we only found positive reviews. I believe this manufacturer will rectify this problem and I will not hesitate to purchase from them in the future.

Best to have two people when sliding the top piece into the track of the awning roller. Once you slide the top piece all the way into position then all you need to do from that point is zipper the bottom section on and off as desired. We bought some screw in stakes off Amazon (it uses 4 stakes) and extra bungee cords, place the stakes 4-5 feet out then use the bungee cords to secure. The picture shown is our first time, it works better moving the stakes out so the bottom of the screen is a couple feet off the ground.

Update The manufacturer actually reached out to me and took care of the problem I had. I was not expecting that. Im very satisfied with the outcome. Would do business again with this company. As the case with others the grommet holes were loose right from the package. I suspect the grommets will eventually need to be replaced. I do like the zipper feature. I think this model is a bit more expensive than a few of the competitors not sure it’s any better quality.

It installs easily if you have a ladder or picnic table to stand on. I only give it 4 stars because my awnings are high up when extended, and to add or remove the zip off portion of screen I still need a ladder or table to stand on. If the upper flap that stays in the tube were longer it would get 5 stars from me.
