Well made awning. The seams are well stitched and all channels are appropriately sewn in. The ribs are straight and the cloth is substantial. These can be difficult to install, it with 2 people and a can of spray silicone, it’s very doable. The fabric was made to fit perfectly, which it does. Great emplacement awning!

We needed to replace an awning, not on an RV, but one attached to the side of the house--basically just like on an RV. I started looking and found this one, which, after some careful measuring, turned out to be literally exactly the right side. It was at a price that we felt was extremely reasonable, so I ordered. This is an incredible awning. We got the 19' size, so it was big and a little clumsy to work with, but we knew that going in. The vinyl is 4-ply high grade vinyl, extremely durable and sturdy and weatherproof. It is UV resistant, and we can leave it out in the winter, too, as long as it doesn't get below -30! The support cords are strong and secure, and made replacement relatively easy for Hubby (and a friend). The color is neutral, so it doesn't jump out and grab your eyeballs. Hubby did look online re installation, and the included instructions were detailed and easy to follow. He did follow the suggestion of one reviewer about opening it up in the sun to soften a little. It was replacing an awning that must have been intended for an RV, because most of the included instructions worked very well for our situation. Hubby is extremely delighted with its design and function, says the quality is incredible, and would recommend it without hesitation. We enjoy our shady spot at home soooo much, and I can well imagine how nice it would be to have an RV with an awning--so this would make a great gift for anyone who has an RV or camper . . . . Wow!

I got the largest replacement, as my opening is 21 feet. It is not light - it is nice quality, the stitching is solid, and it fit well in the roller grooves. I looked online at installations, so I pretty well knew what needed to be done before starting. Two things I recommend - opening this up fully on your lawn in the sun and allowing it to heat up, soften, and get rid of the large folds. This makes a big difference when feeding it into the roller channel. The other is use two people - one may be fine for a small awning, but this length is too unwieldy for just one person. It worked great to have one person pull lightly as the other was feeding it into the track - feeding it in needs to be done carefully to prevent snagging and damaging the top. Not hard; just take your time. It fit perfectly and looks great; opening it fully and letting the folds flatten should be done if possible before rolling it up for an extended time.

My camper awning is 20 years old and has some wind damage so time for a new one. I came across this one and looks like everyone had good comments so I gave it a try. Mine is 19ft long so no I will not even try to do this by my self. I would damage it for sure. The instructions are surprising well illustrated and in color!! I can actually understand exactly how to replace the fabric. The material is thick and I have checked it for holes and none were found. It does come with repair tape and hope I can put that in a drawer and never need it!! As soon my deck is finished being built my son and I will install this new awning. If for some reason I find a problem after install I will update here and of course change my rating if needed. Hope this is helpful and thanks..

That being said, I'm sure the manufacturing process has changed with technology and this is thicker than many that are available today. This has a clean look that has transformed my RV. The poly cords certainly helped with the installation. It wasn't an easy task but it is straightforward. There are many videos that will guide you through the process, and you will need help due to the length and bulk of the material. Pros can do this in as little as fifteen minutes. It took me a couple of hours, and having all the tools I needed was helpful. ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Rating: Well-constructed, thicker than most alternatives, and offers a fantastic new aesthetic. Thanks for reading. 👍

This awning has a nice weight and thickness to it and feels better quality than the one that came new with my trailer. I like the white color without any fades. It looks classy and works with most any RV. My awning is 16' and after handling the awning I decided I needed to wait for a friend to bring their stepladder and help me with the installation. It doesn't seem difficult...just much easier with less chance for awning damage with 2 people. Overall it seems like a superior replacement to the manufacturer awning. I will try to update this review once it's installed if there are any significant features or issues.
