Put lithium grease on front edge to start it in track...do not follow their instruction to install. Instead, simply drill a hole where the bottom pull is on the spring barrel, file off sharp edges, grease it up...if old awning is intact, roll it out fully and lock it in place before taking old awning off...then spray silicone in all three tracks and the job is simple...I also pushed a barrier against one side of awning poles to hold stationary...it works best w 4 people ... show more
