  • Exceeded Expectations & Looks Like a Pro Job
Size: 1 Count (Pack of 1) Color: Gray Pattern Name: Epoxy Coating Kit
The media could not be loaded. I used the Rust-Oleum EpoxyShield Kit for my one-car garage, and I was honestly impressed with the results. The kit is rated for 200–250 sq ft, and I was able to cover 225 sq ft with solid coverage. Pros: • Looks fantastic – clean, glossy, and professional finish • Easy to apply – very manageable DIY project if you follow directions • Durable – provides great protection for the concrete floor Cons: • The kit only comes with 1 lb of decorative flakes, which is not enough if you want that high-end “full broadcast” look What I did differently (highly recommend): I purchased an additional 13 lbs of flakes, which made a huge difference and gave it that near full-flake, showroom-quality finish. Pro Tips: • Prep is everything: use a degreaser + etching solution, then let the floor dry completely • Don’t rush the process—good prep = long-lasting results • Add a clear topcoat + anti-slip additive (sold separately) for a more professional, durable, and safer finish Overall, this kit is an excellent value and delivers great results. With a little extra investment in flakes and topcoat, you can achieve a finish that rivals professional installations. ... show more

  • Good quality product. Recommended.
Size: 2.5 Car (Pack of 1) Color: Dark Gray Pattern Name: Epoxy Coating Kit
EASY TO USE: I applied it to my garage floor and looks great. I had a 4year old coat of floor acrylic paint with bald spots and cement cracks. I brushed as much old paint as possible, power washed the garage, and left it to dry, the next day fixed the cracks with wet cement filler and left it to dry again. The instructions ask for application of a coat of primer (if you had an old paint coat), but I went ahead and applied the paint directly with a roller and brush. 1hr to apply carefully. I followed the instructions of no use for 24 hrs, then light foot use only, and only after 72 hrs cars. SIZE: My garage is a 2-car garage, and I just had a little paint left but definitely does not look enough for a slightly larger garage. If I had applied the primer then the paint would have covered more surface. DURABILITY: It looks great and after 30 days no issues. I cannot judge durability yet. ... show more

  • Don’t skimp on the amount you roll on
Size: 1 Car Color: Dark Gray Pattern Name: Epoxy Coating Kit
Read a lot of reviews on this product before I purchased. I did the degreaser and the acid wash. Then I did the crack filler. When I started applying the color the paint acted like there was water or grease on the crack filler. I also was worried about not having enough paint to finish as many people said they almost ran out. In the end I didn’t put the paint on heavy enough and had bleed thru. Luckily I bought a second kit. After two days of cure I sanded the floor lightly with 120grit and added a second coat/. The floor looks awesome and so far has held up well. • Great product and brand
Size: 2.5 Car (Pack of 1) Color: Dark Gray Pattern Name: Epoxy Coating Kit
Easy instructions and I looked up how to prepare the floor, since mine was previously painted. So fingers crossed this holds up. But it was easy to apply and put down the paint chips. I was able to do small sections at a time no problem and completed my 2 car garage floor . This brand was also recommended to hold up to humidity and heat which is what I needed. ... show more

  • NOT durable, NOT like professional grade; do not buy
Size: 2.5 Car (Pack of 1) Color: Tan Pattern Name: Epoxy Coating Kit
I've installed SIX epoxy garage floors in my day, all but the last one using pro-grade 2-part epoxies, color and chips. They all have held up extremely well over the past 16 years. I decided to use the rustoleum product on a 2-car garage in a rental place we bought last year. WHAT A MISTAKE. I acid etched the bare floor THREE times (from experience, 2 times is needed at least). I let the etching dry 2 days in high-altitude arid climate at 70F and did a moisture check. I rolled the epoxy on, sprinkled the chips and even applied a DOUBLE clear top coat layer. Look at the photos, its a DISASTER and a waste if money. The epoxy DOES NOT ADHERE like pro-grade epoxies. It bubbles, pillows, and easily tears from the concrete surface. If you think you are saving money by buying this kit, you aren't. Now I have to sand off (scarify) the crappy Rustoleum product and reapply a superior product. Waste of my time and money. Do yourself a favor and spend the little extra to get a pro-grade product and do it once, the right way. ... show more

  • Great Product
Size: 1 Count (Pack of 1) Color: Gray Pattern Name: Epoxy Coating Kit
I ordered this product, and it works as advertised, I would caution you.... this product is easy to apply, but do not be mistaken, the outcome of this product is completely dependent on the preparation of the surface. I used the etching compound as advertised, and it worked on 90% of the floor, however, there were some trouble spots that required special attention. The only true way to test or veryify that this product is ready to apply is to house down your garage floor and look for what I will refer to as "water breaks" which visible by the water immediately clearing from the area immediately following remove a stream of water from it, almost like on a waxed car surface. You know how when you wax your car and you take a water hose to it and it repels the water. If this happens in areas on your garage floor, it is usual evidence that there is some type of petroleum based substance that has been onsorbed into your concrete or there is still some type of concrete sealer present. There is a very cheap method that I used to get rid of these water breaks that I had on my garage. Go and buy yourself some good old fashioned cat litter, apply it to the dry problem area and then work the cat litter into the troubled area with your feet (we in the Navy that have visited NAS Fallon Nevada like to refer to this as the Fallon Shuffle), so what you are essentially doing is working the product (it's an abrasive) into the spot and basically removing it like sand paper would, keep doing this effectively, kind of like a chicken my scrtach through brush or move your feet in a shuffling motion being sure to work the litter into the entire area. When you have finished, sweep up the remaining litter and then take the house back to it, if the area stays wet, you have successfully removed your trouble spot. Repeat this procedure om the remaining areas. So as you can see, there is a lot of prep work that needs to go into the floor prior to paining. I am curious how to perform touch-up on trouble spots if they arise. Does anyone have any experince with this? ... show more
