Description

Gorilla Super Glue Gel is an easy-to-use, thicker and more controlled formula great for multiple surfaces and vertical applications. Developed for long- lasting repairs in an instant, the clear glue dries in 10-45 seconds. This super glue gel is specially formulated to absorb drops and impacts. Super glue, also referred to as cyanoacrylate glue, or CA glue, works on a variety of materials, including plastic, metal, stone, ceramic, paper, rubber and more. In addition to its high-performance formula, we've added an anti-clog cap with a metal pin inside to ensure an airtight seal for maximum reusability. It's Gorilla tough, every time. Versus liquid Gorilla Super Glue Not recommended for use on polyethylene or polypropylene plastic or similar materials. Directions: 1) Protect Work Area From Spills 2) Clean and Dry Surfaces to Be Bonded 3) Prepare Gorilla Super Glue Gel: With cap on bottle, shake product, then turn product upside down and tap on hard surface to shake gel into bottle nozzle. 4) Apply Gorilla Super Glue Gel: Remove cap and apply a small amount of Gorilla Super Glue Gel to one surface. Only one dab per square inch recommended. Set time can vary based on the amount of glue and type of surface glued. Excess glue can cause delayed or failed bond. 5) Secure: Press the two surfaces together for about 10-45 seconds. Note that gaps and uneven surfaces may cause delayed bonding. Wait 24 hours for a full cure. Bottles are labeled by weight, not by volume, and each bottle contains the labeled weight. For high performance and reusability, the glue needs to be protected from moisture. Our bottle, which has the required thickness to keep moisture out, contains the grams of glue as labeled and is flexible enough to allow the glue to flow, making the product easy to use.

I've used many brands over the years and this Gorilla brand has performed the best. Plus, their dispensing tube is the best yet. I've had to throw others away for drying out, but not this brand. I don't know why, but this is usually the one I go for when I buy super glue. It works fine, don't expect any miracles from it though. You might have to really shake it if you haven't used it in a while and it's not full. It's worth googling what a proper type of glue for a given project is. Super glue isn't for everything. I do tend to try it first though. A properly prepared surface helps it work as it should. Rough up the surfaces with sandpaper if you can, and clean them up and make sure they are dry before using the glue. ... show more

Gorilla glue is always pretty good, this stuff cures to the touch quickly, which is nice when I'm working on an art piece that I can't sit there and hold for a few minutes every time I want to add something on. It's annoying when it gets on your skin (I always manage to find a way no matter how careful I am), but it does make a huge difference to immediately go wash it with hot soapy water rather than waiting even 10 seconds to do so ... show more

We bought this Gorilla Super Glue Gel XL for a few small jobs around the house and so far so good. It IS a solid hold, but also requires one use care when applying. It is VERY sticky instantly and can cause issues if you do not prepare the job before using and if not properly applying the Gorilla Super Glue Gel XL to whatever you're working on. One example of our use so far: we have a suitcase we always use, but the decorative silver strip on the pull out handle was popping out. Before it broke off and caused either an injury to the hand or weakened the handle we applied the Gorilla Super Glue Gel XL to reattach it permanently. And by Permanently I mean it! This glue should hold that silver strip in place long after the rest of the suitcase is destroyed! This stuff feels tough! You can see there was some slight spill over when we push it down and held it - this was mostly cleaned off after drying. But we also had to hold it in place for the first minute or so - which the glue dries FAST the piece is set on an uneven spot with divides and we had to fill those in - so holding it in place we used a plastic bag to keep it from our hangs, pulling up a few times making sure it was not sticking to the plastic. But having used this Gorilla Super Glue Gel XL we knew to have everything set before applying the glue, apply, then hold, and be careful. In the end, it worked out find and as mentioned - it is solid, tough, and will last. We like the Gorilla Glue product brand and will use it again. ... show more
