What's included- A pair of inexpensive plastic gloves, two types of patches you cut to size, 4.4 fl oz vinyl adhesive. Note that the adhesive is clear. The viscosity is like syrup. The top of the can has an applicator brush. It's a pretty big can for one or two spot repairs. It's not enough to cover square feet in my opinion. Make sure this is right for your application. Read what types of materials it's for. I got this to repair an inflatable paddleboard where the top deck foam was releasing. I cleaned, brushed on adhesivbe, and then used a board and weight to apply pressure for twenty-four hours per the instructions. It turned out great. The cap was partially opened, sufficiently to permit a fair amount of the glue to leak in the manufacturer's box, making quite the mess. The outer cardboard box the glue container was packed in did not appear damaged, so leak probably happened prior to being sent to me. As an aside, the chemical odor from the Vinyl glue was powerful, so consider that, if using this product for an indoors application. Not knowing how much of the solvent was active in the remaining glue, the glue was discarded.

I used to patch holes with a polyether caulking called m1, which worked really well, but he tubes are 30 dollars each and as soon as you open them, they start drying out so it amounted to 30 dollars per hole for a little lump of caulk. I'd read bad reviews of pretty much every glue and patch kit for pools, which is why I used m1, but I got a little hole in the pool and decided to try the traditional way rather than m1 and it worked for me/ The vinyl patches that come with the glue are a little thin but that isn't an issue since you can just double or triple them up and glue them together if you want to. Holding the patch just right until you get to the hole in the bottom of the pool is the tricky part, but when you do it correctly the patch adheres like it's supposed to. It works much better with goggles so you can see what's going on when you're underwater. I patched a 1/4 tear in the vinyl that was causing the level to drop about 1.5 inches per day and it's not leaking anymore. One bit of advice, make sure the patch extends beyond the tear at least a half inch otherwise the pressure of the water will cause the tear to split a little bit and a very small hole can lose a lot of water.

This is a set of rubber cement and small patches for vinyl repair. This can patch inflatable, covers, etc. The cement bonds very well to clean vinyl, and it is waterproof. It dries clear, and it remains flexible when dry. That is critical with vinyl since it also flexes quite a bit. The provided patches are nice to have, and they work fine. Overall this is a decent set.
