I looked at other ones like this item and many complained about unlocking with the keys. I have had no problem with this and it is quick to put on and quick to take off. It is very sturdy so any car thief would not be able to cut the cable.

It took me a minute to figure out how to wrap it around the steering wheel. Once figured out, just attach to side of seat belt metal. First time I tested it with the keys, it took a couple of minutes to disengage. I repeatedly kept playing with it. It seems to be a good deterrent, I am not sure how strong the metal is inside the cover. I guess I would know better if someone tried it with a bolt cutter. But let’s hope that doesn’t happen!! Do recommend as a deterrent, unsure about the durability with bolt cutters, but it somewhat provides some piece of mind. ... show more
