This station was a great purchase for me, (a keyboard enthusiast) but if you plan on only lubing one keyboard it is probably not worth it. I would recommend getting something with only the tweezers, lube, stem grabby thingy, possibly O rings, and a brush for a one time use. It took me a while to figure out my system for lubing the switches, and it is worth noting that there is nowhere to store the top switch housings. The lube was good, with no issues or complaints, and all the other tools worked fine and didn’t break. The stem grabber thing is my favorite tool, as it kept my hands clean and held the stems very well. The O rings definitely helped achieve the more muted, creamy sound I was looking for, but they might not be what you want for a thocky sound. The station itself was easy to build, but it had a little flex when placing switches in the middle. I had no issues with the seller and the product arrived on time. This will save me countless hours in the future, and I would recommend for anyone who wants to lube lots of keyboards efficiently. This is a great piece of kit. I love it. My keyboard sounds so quiet now I can't believe it. 2 bad things. Instructions don't exist so I was struggling to open my switches until I figure it out. Scared there for a while to break them. Second thing, this is just a FYI type thing. I had all the springs and stems all set up. I'm nicely doing things, lubing it up, then, I rotate it to start brushing on the bottom part of the switches and suddenly I lost the grip of my brush and it hits the springs and stems. SPRINGS EVERYWHERE!!! Dude, I found one in my beard. So, the lesson here is put the in something other than those little holes. Just trust me. ... show more

All the tools you need for mech key lubing. Not the fanciest or best quality tools, but good for the price. The stand isn't flimsy, but does look a little cheap (if you care) and the legs weren't easy to find in the packaging, so be careful not to accidentally throw them out.

I got this station because I didn’t want to pay a million dollars for some KBD or GMK equivalent. This hobby is already expensive enough lol. I considered buying Krytox alongside this purchase but I’m glad I didn’t because the lube included in this works surprising well in my opinion. Overall, it may not look the best or be as high quality compared to the competition, but it’s reliable and well worth the money. ... show more

I'm not sure how to feel about this purchase. The cap puller is good. The switch opener is a little less reliable than I'd like. The tweezers are okay. The switch puller is okay. I have not yet tried the included lube. I haven't used the O-rings either. The keyboard brush feels really cheap, but is actually pretty useful for brushing dust and debris away. The lube tray is meh. It's too weak and flexes quite a bit with any pressure near the middle. It's also not clear plastic as shown in the pictures. It's a foggy, almost dirty/oily looking plastic with inconsistent texture. There are enough slots to do significant batches of switches, but I've found it's less convenient to fully utilize this station. I'll still use this at times. But I can see why some more custom keyboard enthusiasts don't use lube stations. They really don't make the process much more efficient. At least this one doesn't. At 27 dollars, I wouldn't say it's a waste. But if I were to lose this, I wouldn't be buying another one. ... show more

**FINAL UPDATE!!** I received another replacement from the seller and the acrylic tray has all holes required for the legs and tray backing! I corresponded with the seller regarding the quality control and recommended they address the issues with their manufacturer and it appears the issues have been addressed! Good kit for beginner keyboard enthusiasts! **UPDATE 2** I recieved the new item and again, everything in the kit is good. The only issue is that the acrylic switch holder is missing 2 holes, 1 for the 4th leg and another to attach the backplate to the area that would hold the legs and stems. The tray is still sturdy with 3 legs and the plate stays on with 3 fasteners so the kit is still functional and if you can drill the missing holes without damaging the product then this is a perfect beginner kit. However I am going to maintain the 5 star review due to the responsiveness of the seller and the fact that the product is still functional and good even with the missing holes. **UPDATE 1** After leaving the below review I was contacted by the seller and surprised by them quickly sending a new item. I will try to update when received so I can actually review the full kit in due form but from the other items in the pack it seems to be a decent beginner set for a new Keyboard enthusiast! ORIGINAL: The acrylic station itself was missing the large hole for the screw leg and the smaller hole to attache the secondary acrylic plate to. In an attempt to drill the holes myself the acrylic snapped. Definitely some quality control issues. ... show more

Great starter kit, especially if you’re just getting into the hobby!!! Everything arrived fully functional and will definitely get the job done. If I am being nitpicky, my only critiques would be that the acrylic station is a bit rough/scratchy, the keycap puller is a bit tight, and I would rather a mini screwdriver instead of the duster. None of these will get in the way of making a really nice keyboard though. It arrived nicely packaged and came with everything listed.
