The color is spot on. The thickness is decent. It IS soft. But it’s not a rug to me. It feels like a cross between fake fur and a plasticy polyester.... I can best describe it as troll hair (if you were young in the 90’s and had a toy troll you will know what I am talking about). If this is what you expect to receive, I’d give it 4 stars. These rugs look nice but the pieces come off. The sides also roll up. I bought two rugs. The pictures are from each rug. It’s best if you place this rug in a spot where there is little to no traffic.

I was looking for a rug to stand on all day for VR gaming; this rug is probably the best for the price in terms of the type of fabric/softness as well as the thickness. It, standalone, is not great for long VR use, but it's still very soft and would pair well with padding underneath, and the fabric used for it is very much like what you see in the pictures. Many other carpets of similar type have horrible reviews for the fabric turning out to be extremely thin, cheap, etc; heed those reviews and skip those, and go for this one. ... show more

I like the looks and feel of this deep plush thick shag carpet very much .. but, has some odor that I'm hoping will go away after being aired out! Have it outside because inside makes my eyes water and burn! So jury is out on whether I will keep thе carpet if I can't enjoy it in my house!

This is a very soft and plush rug. Unfortunately it came filthy dirty and gross. The size was perfect. I just don’t want a dirty rug.
