It’s a little pricey, so I’m not sure if the benefits outweigh the cost. One thing I’m not crazy about that you don’t see in the video or commercials is the Velcro base. This rug is gorgeous. It arrived a day earlier than expected, which was a nice surprise, and the quality and pattern are both amazing. The thickness of the top part makes it feel very high quality and with the mat it doesn’t slip or slide on my wood floors. It was also very easy to get the washable part lined up with the mat base. I love my ruggable rug! It not only looks attractive, but it does not slip around on the floor like my regular rugs have. I can’t wait till till my matching hall carpet arrives. I have not washed it yet so I cannot report on that but I think it should be straight forward.

The rug is exactly what we were hoping for: a way to spice up a large guest bedroom. It is definitely very soft and exceeded our expectations on looks.
