  • Easy Assembly and Very Sturdy
Size: 7'x7' Color: Beige
I’m not quite sure why some people are saying this was difficult to assemble. My 80 year old step-father and I (65 years old) put this together in a total of 7 hours spread over two days. The only reason we couldn’t finish it I one day was due to the weather. The directions are easy to follow and it assembles like a dream. It’s extremely sturdy, even before the roof goes on, and it even came with a dozen hooks to hang tools, extension cords, and hoses on the walls. I highly recommend this shed. ... show more

  • sturdy and straightforward assembly, watch out for the roof and doors
Size: 7'x7' Color: Brown
The shed is well built and generally easy to put together. The walls are panels that have little nubs that you can force into grooves in the plastic bottom floor of the shed. That part is simple enough. The annoying part is that the roof is 3 pieces separate, long pieces that extend from the back of the shed to the front. While conceptually simple, the difficulty is that (assuming you are doing this by yourself and are of average height), the instructions expect you to lift a 3x6 piece of plastic over the back wall of the shed and align it into the plastic grooves along the edge of the walls of the shed, twice. (The grooves are the kind that are T-shaped, if that makes sense. Think of a male T-shaped piece of hard plastic sticking out of the wall of the shed, and a female shaped T indentation in the plastic roof, and you need to slide the two T shapes together). With the plastic bending this way and that, and with limited visibility (or balance, if you are on a ladder), the exercise of "sliding" the roof forward from behind the shed to the front gets really annoying really fast. I think they would have been better served by having the roof be a simple "push down" exercise, rather than a "slide-to-lock". There's certainly enough support for the roof within the shed (metal internal braces, internal hooks with screws, etc.). Ultimately, getting the roof on by yourself (or even with help) is a pain. Do-able, but a pain. And you need to make sure you have enough clearance behind the shed for yourself and for the roof sliding exercise you need to do. Shower Thought: Looking back at the exercise, I suggest to anyone building this shed that you actually connect the wall panels together (pushed into the floor) and then leave enough space to tip the entire shed over and slide the roof on. It'll be much easier, if you have the space for it. Separately, the doors are hard to align. Even when the shed is level, if your base is slightly not level, the doors will not level. You can solve this by either forgoing the hinge cutouts that are internally located (and just drilling the hinges in as convenient) or by forcing the shed level after-the-fact. In any case, the hinges are a potential point of weakness. They aren't "real" hinges. Just pieces of thin metal that wrap around the plastic edge of the door frame. Think of curling your fingers but not making a fist. That's the shape of the hinge (made of thin metal) wrapped around the plastic of the door. It's annoying to install because the hinges will keep falling off the door and a kid hanging on the door after it's installed may threaten the metal. Anyway, overall, it's a fine shed, and the roof (once finished) is sturdy. But there are some points that could be improved in its construction. ... show more

  • Well made
Size: 7'x7' Color: Gray
Although this is a bear to put together even though the sides are easy. I would definitely purchase it again. Sturdy , huge amount for storage. Really looks nice . I'm very pleased . #1 make sure the floor is even and balanced or doors will not shut properly

  • Don't Buy!!! Rubbermaid Shed with Dormer 7x7 is not easily assembled. Parts warped had to return!
Size: 7'x7' Color: Gray
If you're reading reviews on the Rubbermaid Sheds make sure the reviews you read pertain to the right shed. For example there are reviews for a previous model under this listing, that is misleading for what you're going to receive. We ordered the 7x7 rubbermaid shed with a dormer in grey. We chose this because we currently own the previous model same dimensions with no dormer and it was a breeze to put together. We love that one. This newer model has been modified by the manufacturer and states it conserves on materials and parts to make it easier.... This is a load of BS. The one we ordered, the walls made of resin were all warped. It didn't snap in easily as presented in their online video tutorial. Parts didn't fit right where you would secure one corner of the roof and then snap in the other corner and the secured corner would then pop out. The instructions don't make sense but i guess thats a given. The materials don't seem as good quality as their previous model, and the seams from the side walls were not seamless where there would be chance for outdoor water penetration. We decided to return. Which in of it self was a nightmare dealing with Amazon logistics and their freighting partners who after 5 attempts of failed pick ups due to mismanagement of time, communication needs for resources and man power decided to tell us to deal with the 500lb package on our own. However they did right and refunded us. BUT Now I have a 500lb useless shed sitting in our yard killing my grass and obstructing the entrance into our yard for 4th of July weekend. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT BUY!!!!!!! ... show more

  • Good, sturdy and large shed
Size: 7'x7' Color: Brown
Overall, it's a good storage shed, very sturdy, good looking, and doesn't leak in the rain. It's nice and roomy. Assembly isn't too difficult if you're good at following pictograph instructions. But it's definitely a two-person job. My husband and I took half the day to put it together on a concrete slab. You'll need a ladder, especially when assembling the roof, and a power screwdriver. The only complaint is getting the doors aligned so they open and close freely. Even though we built it on a perfectly level concrete slab, it's still slightly misaligned so that we have to kick the bottom of the door to close it all the way. It's not that big of a deal to me, so I'm still giving it 5 stars overall. ... show more

  • Cheap, thin plastic
Size: 7'x7' Color: Beige
While, this shed looks good, I found it extremely time-consuming to assemble. I was able to put up the panels by myself however, you definitely need a second person to complete it. Compared to the last shed I had, the plastic on this one is very thin to the point where you are basically able to squeeze the front and back together. Do not drop anything heavy or pointed onto the floor otherwise it will puncture. The screws are not magnetic and kind of short, so when attaching the hollow metal bars to the front and back of the inside of the shed it is easy to lose a screw if it drops inside the bar which was frustrating. You also need a completely level surface otherwise the panels and roof will not match up. I ended up having to shim certain areas to get everything aligned. Hopefully, this shed will hold up for a while as there is no way I would ever assemble one of these again! ... show more

  • Durable shed to protect lawn equipment
Size: 7'x7' Color: Brown
Once this is fully put together, it is a good shed, and a good value for the money. Putting it together was very difficult and you definitely need two people. At times it could get frustrating because parts of the plastic tongue and groove sections would pop out while you were doing another section. Everything was labeled really well and the instructions were clear, it's just a product made with plastic so it can be difficult to get together. It's also extremely heavy, my son and I did it together and it took us about 4 hours. But once it is put together it keeps all of the moisture out of the shed, so our electric mower is safe inside. Also, it is worth noting that we can fit an electric mower inside, a riding mower. Able to put a push mower and a snow blower in there as well all together. So it's a pretty good size for such a cheap price. ... show more
