The media could not be loaded. This is the third mattress pad that I have bought for our guest bed and I think I've finally found the one. I was looking for a mattress pad that would provide some cushiony softness to a firm mattress but wasn't too expensive and wrapped around the bed like a fitted sheet. This seems to be just right for our needs. The fabric is smooth, the elastic binding is sturdy, and the loft is thick without being overly thick and is certainly not thin like the previous one I tried. Some of these mattress protectors are noisy because they put a layer of plastic inside to make them waterproof - this one has no plastic layer so it's not noisy at all which is important to a good sleep - who wants to hear plastic crinkling when they roll over in the middle of the night? Our mattress is a little over a year old but my husband and I have disliked it since we got it, but they say it takes a few weeks/months for your body to adapt to the new mattress, and then next thing you know it was more of a hassle to return it than to keep it. I didn't want to spend hundreds of dollars on a memory foam mattress topper as I might as well save that and put it into a new mattress. A mattress cover with a little padding might do the work (that's what I told myself!). So here we are, it has been over a week since I got this and have very few observations about my experience: 1 - If fits perfectly well (King size on King size mattress -- had used wrong King before and it has been a hassle) 2 - It has very deep pocket so it goes all the way down (not sure if we have a 13 or 15 inch, forgot by now) 3 - It is very soft and when I lay down I can feel a little bit of the comfort 4 - My husband says he doesn't feel the difference and wakes up in pain (but still refuses to get out of bed early on his days off) 5-We have this under the sheet and there is no noise as it is kept in place by it 6 - No smells out of the box/bag 7-It is so warm! Our bed is usually cold and I dare not move from my spot because the bed is so cold, but this seems to help and your new little spot warms up pretty quickly 8 - With that being said, I don't know if this will work in the Summer/early Fall -- if it retains heat then I will have to remove it I have not washed it so I don't know how well it will do in the washing machine but I will guess this is more of a commercial washing machine than my little machine at home. I love this mattress topper. Normal queen sheets don't properly fit my bed so I always have to get deep pocket sheets, this fits wonderfully! It's very nice and good quality. I haven't noticed a difference with my back pain however, still in the same amount of pain I'm always in upon waking. I'd recommend for someone wanting a nice mattress topper but not for pain relief. ... show more

Got this for our bed that has become extremely uncomfortable. Instead of purchasing a new mattress we decided to try this first as it was a better fit for our budget. Now, I can’t wait to get into our bed every nigh lol. The topper fits our deep mattress, it literally tucks so far under the mattress and does not move as we sleep. It’s material is very soft and seems very well made. Make sure you have a large washing machine for when it comes time to wash it. I am giving it more time to see if it will eventually flatten out or not. My hopes are that it wont because I really do love this mattress cover which is why I purchased 3 of them for our beds in our large family. I would definitely recommend this to anyone! ... show more
