Why did you pick this product vs others?: I prefer Rubbermaid containers and these are exactly as described. Clear (and yes, they ARE clear), good sealing lids, and a variety of sizes. I would have ordered a larger set, but they are a bit higher than no name brands. I am planning on storing items long term and wanted a reliable brand. I just got these and am in the process of converting old containers to these ones. So far, they seem very airtight - especially for brown sugar. I have purchased "airtight" containers in the past that were not. Hoping the "Rubbermaid" brand will be true to its reputation. The reason I only gave them 4 stars is because the one that shows spaghetti is false advertisement. I had to break off an inch of my spaghetti to fit. I have two different brands of spaghetti, so it is not the brand. Rubbermaid should not advertise a picture with spaghetti when the container is too short for the spaghetti without breaking some off. ... show more
