These shades are great! I got my gym set up in my sun room and it's great for privacy! Cheaper than blinds as well and better blinds would had been a dust collection station. These... all I had to do was unwrap it, measure 5x, cut it, put the stick parts on the window and on the shade and put them up. Done! I do wish however that i had taken the time to iron it out so there was no creases in them like you see in the pictures. Not sure if it will help with keeping the sun room cooler but I hope it will as Florida summers are killers! I always tell people that it's a gym and a sauna at the same time!

So these are a pretty basic design, just a thin sheet that you stick up to you windows. But, they do work. They keep all light out and seem to help somewhat with keeping the cold out too These would be nice in a van or rv too to completely darken the windows if camping in an urban setting.

These were super easy to cut to size, and I was able to cover 2 of our large bedroom windows with just one set. They don't block out 100% of the light as it still sneaks through the edges/sides of this, but they do a good job overall of making it much darker inside! The material is super lightweight and easy to put up or take down, and the adhesive strips worked great they have no issue with holding it up. Would definitely recommend these if you want to make your room darker.

The fabric is not as aesthetic but the overall kit is pretty useful and DIY. It is great for privacy. It can be used to cover any windows with ease. I wished they had included more Velcro.

We have a projector in our loft, and we wanted to be able to watch from it even in the daytime. My husband wanted to put these blackout curtains (that did not match the room and was not long enough), but this solved the issue. Once installed and the blinds are down, you don’t even notice there’s a blackout film behind. All you can see is the crystal clear projector screen! Note that I cut the sheets with the measurement of the glass parts of the windows. In hindsight I should’ve gone over the windows to completely eliminate slivers of light that come through. It’s not too much light to ruin watching from the projector, but just be mindful when measuring/cutting. This included such a huge size of blackout sheet that if I had the energy to “correct my mistake,” I would be able to. We only used a small amount of this for one window. Highly recocmmend!

This blackout curtain far exceeds my expectations. When our youngest grandson spends the night, his bedroom is located right where the early morning sun can shine brightly through the one window, waking him earlier than his usual time to get up. This can make for a long day, as active as he stays. We have blinds on the windows and I didn't want to install traditional curtains. When I found this portable blackout curtain on Amazon I decided it might be worth a try. I am very pleased with the great job this lightweight curtain does to totally darken the room, even during the brightest time of day. The sheet I ordered is large enough to cover the entire window and then some. The company also included a tape measure to help determine where to cut the curtain for a perfect fit. There are several adhesive velcro patches that can be attached to the window frame allowing quick setup and removal of the curtain. This item does the job exactly as stated in the description. I am very pleased with this portable blackout curtain.

I used this blackout curtain on one of my daughter's windows. She was complaining about her room being too hot during the summer and this curtain seems to be doing the trick. We will find out in a few months to know if it truly works.
