I got the RoyalBaby Freestyle Kids Bike (20 inch, pink) for my daughter, and she’s over the moon with it! It’s been such a hit, and I’m super impressed with how well-made and easy to set up this bike is—definitely a great pick for kids ages 6-10. Right out of the box, this bike was a breeze to put together. It came about 95% pre-assembled, so I just had to attach the handlebars, seat, pedals, and fenders. The instructions were clear, and it took maybe 15 minutes. The pink color is vibrant and exactly what my daughter wanted—she loves showing it off! The BMX-inspired design looks sporty and cool, and it comes with a water bottle and holder, which she thinks is the best part. The bike feels sturdy with its steel frame and 2.4-inch wide tires, which give her great stability on pavement and even some light gravel in our neighborhood. The dual hand brakes are a big plus—no coaster brake here, which I love because it’s easier for her to get the hang of stopping smoothly. Other parents on Amazon mentioned the brakes are well-adjusted from the factory, and I found that to be true; they worked perfectly right away. The adjustable seat and handlebars are awesome since she’s still growing, so this bike should last her a few years. My daughter says it’s comfy to ride, though some reviews noted the seat can be a bit hard, so we might add a gel cover later. It’s a little heavy compared to pricier bikes, but she’s 8 and handles it just fine. The kickstand is handy for parking, and the bell adds a fun touch she loves ringing. This is the perfect balance bike for young kids to learn to ride. Perfect size for my four year old soon to be five year old. The pedals are easy to install when they are ready. Pros- bike was not damaged. Easy assemble. Perfect size for my 2 year old. They provide the tools needed. He loves the bell (eye roll lol) and the bike. Cons- OVERPRICED!!! there's a bike just like this for about $80max(didnt get it because it was out of stock)..this one is $200+ and nothing special about it. instructions are garbage. I struggled with attaching the left pedal and started to think i was sent 2 right pedals...i just had to twist left to tighten instead of the usual "righty tighty". My main issue is the breaks or the pedals i should say. The pedals are not your breaks (hand breaks only) so instead the pedals are able to be pushed backwards and of course it wont move the bike. Probably shouldve got pedal breaks. My son (first bike) will push the pedals backwards all day and not move. The tires seem a bit deflated. The bike is heavy for a toddler. That matters when it falls on them after a bad turn etc. To sum it up the bike overpriced. Its easy to assemble. My son loves it. We just have to work a bit more as far as breaking. Also be sure to tighten everything as much as possible! My sons seat started twisting just from him sitting on it so i could adjust it to his size. Well made boys bike. The best thing I liked was that 95% of the bike was put together in the box. The only thing I had to add to the bike where the handlebars which was an easy connection and the bike pedals and the reflector and the bell. The instructions could have been a little bit more clear but I was able to put the bike together within an hour. This is my experience….. the bike feels premium …. I purchased for my 4 yr old to replace his bike for his birthday… as I assembled the last pedal I realized it was machined incorrectly and would not screw on ….both of my kids were crying because the old bike was given to the 2 yr old that morning…. And now the 4 yr wants to ride and the 2 year old isn’t having it …. Quality control aside …. I think it’s nice …. But it will take a while for me to forgive them for this one .Update: they promptly sent a replacement thanks …. But it has the same defect…. Royal baby is garbage…. Poor quality control ….. unfortunate because I liked the quality and look of the bike I could just rethread it myself but for almost 200 for a baby bike no way …. DO NO BUY THIS TRASH ... show more
