I like the length (it comes to the tips of my fingers with arms resting at sides) and the fit. The hood is fine and removable. This was definitely waterproof, it's a good length right about the knee, I'm 5'1", I typically wear large but the medium fit perfect, I don't need a thick sweater. It is packable, I tried it! I definitely recommend this.

The coat is very soft, light weight, and yet warm. The blue is a nice dark blue. Unfortunately, it runs very small. I wear a 3x in coats, sometimes a 2x, and the 3x in this coat wouldn't even zip. So I don't recommend if you wear a 3x. I'm keeping it as it fits my daughter, though big on her, she wants it for her walks because she can layer thick sweatshirts under it for the winter. I'm sad they don't have a bigger size to size up. ... show more

This jacket has a nice cut and seems warm. Unfortunately I ordered and medium and should have ordered an extra small. ( I’m 5-0 and 109 lbs). The gray color is nice but too dark for what I wanted.

Southern girl here so I had to buy a coat for a trip north. I got this one because it was longer than waist length but not too long and it folds up pretty compact and can fit in a backpack. Temps were in the mid 40s to low 50s. I had layers on underneath and my upper body was warm. I don’t think it kept below my waist warm as my backside and upper legs were still cold. The hood does not have a drawstring so it easily blew off in the wind. It rained (constant misty rain) and the cost kept me dry. Every so often I’d brush off the water that had accumulated in the coat. Water did not soak through. It rolls up nicely but I did practice a few times before the trip. It has zip pockets but they are not in the right place for comfortably keep your hands in them. There are also pockets inside the jacket but they are small and don’t have a zip or snap.
