Really nice, had no trouble at all installing it and to be clear I didn’t touch it, my husband did, so by the time it was delivered and when I got home it was already all put together and ready to use! We have had a previous offset smoker before that was around $400 that I swear was just as good as this one. We have made ribs, fall off the bone good, and pulled pork. Both have been absolutely delicious and the temperature was super easy to control! It’s well built, easy to use, has really nice racks, and the space all underneath is also really nice because it’s enough room for multiple big bags of charcoal / wood. The only thing you have to do is make sure you buy a grease catcher to go underneath. We have already smoked bacon, ribs, and pulled pork and it all was delicious and melt in your mouth worthy. The media could not be loaded. Great for the price! We have never owned a smoker/smoked meat but this is a great starter to try it. My boyfriend loves it and is learning how to smoke using the attacked smoker. It is very easy to use. Only issue is the bottom pan that goes in the grill itself under the charcoal holder has started to peel off the black color that was on it only after two uses. The smoker side is easy to work but the entrance is very small so you have to turn the charcoal holder (idk the real word for this piece the piece the charcoal/smoker items sit on) sideways to ever get it out to dump it. We also have had some issues with the seal on the grill and when smoking the smoke goes out of every area where the lid attaches to the grill itself. The assembly took me about an hour/hour and a half with just me. It can go faster using two people! ... show more

I'd read some reviews about it not holding heat in, but I do not have that problem personally. The only problem I had was the air control vent on the smoker side, the hardware sent did not match up right for it to properly close. I fixed it with a self-tapping sheet metal screw, and after that, grill works great! Holds heat and smoke, and its just durable enough to be able to roll it around the yard with ease. Great deal in my eyes. Assembly took about half an hour, fairly simple. Happy grillin! ... show more

this is a great starter grill but is hard to control the temperature of it, probably a better smoker than grill uses a lot less coal than one thinks Update thewind blew over and damaged the lid, tossed the cover and welded new hinges on the lid now its nearly good as new

Would be super easy to assemble, except all the hardware strips too easily, whether it’s screw heads, thread or the hardware in the holes… everything strips! Every screw also leaves residue on my tools, hands, and work surfaces. I would love to rate other aspects of this product, but I literally can’t finish assembling it with stripped screw holes. Update (from 1 to 3 stars): was able to assemble it without the 4th screw that holds the barrel down to the legs. Works perfectly fine, but the front left leg can pop out if jiggled. ... show more

So, I was very excited to get my new grill. My daughter and I put it together; both of us reading the instructions (or so we thought). We get to the smoker section, and didn't read what size of screw we needed to put the smoker together with. We were using the wrong size, and re-read the instructions.
