  • Can’t beat it for the price
I’ve been running this for a couple months on my 300BLK PDW and it is stellar for the money. This is definitely not an airsoft laser aiming module. Pros - The IR laser has held zero over several range trips, hundreds of round, and all while being handled less than gently. It is also strong enough to be usable out to 200+ yards. Finally, the slaved green laser makes confirming zero a piece of cake. - The footprint is small and the QD mount is tight (at least for my setup). It is ideal for the 12 o’clock (unless you’re running an A2 style front sight post which does not work), but is usable at the 3 or 9 o’clock. - The toggles work well and are positioned where having a tape switch would be unnecessary. - Front battery loading. Enough said. No need to rezero after changing your battery. - The IR light is definitely stronger with more throw than the VIR II. Might be too strong for small rooms as it oftentimes causes my NODs to auto-gate. For outdoors or larger rooms? Wonderful. Cons - The setting knob is not stellar but you do get used to it (though it is substantially more difficult with gloves). - The white light is anemic. That said for lighting up shadows or clearing a house, it is terrific. - The IR light is a bit floody but not nearly as bad as the VIR II. It isn’t the Vampire but it is more than usable. ... show more

  • Great laser
Holds zero very well for me. Visible, IR laser w/illuminator. I don’t use the flashlight bc it’s not bright enough. The QD locks the GL4 Pro perfectly on a picatinny rail. Affordable enough to get started in shooting with night vision for hunting or training. I’ve shot the GL4 Pro with 5.56 and .300BLK. No issues. Adjustment feels weird but is positive. Weight is perfect. ... show more

  • Very happy with this light.
I am extremely pleased with this unit. I have tried it on a suppressed pistol, but it found a home on my 300BLK. I will be buying more of these. I read that the white lamp was kind of anemic, but I found it to be extremely bright inside a large building. Maybe the lamp was upgraded when they gave the unit a facelift. I have used the IR functions with NODs, and so far, good to go! Accuracy was spot on and is holding zero. It was also extremely easy to zero using my existing red dot and my desired distance. Once the remote that RovyVon makes is available, I will definitely be adding that on. ... show more

  • Ya get what ya pay for
Welp ya get what ya pay for. The laser is great but the IR Illuminator is very under powered. Even shooting at ten yards under with IR NODs I had a difficult time seeing the target. While it’s durable and seems to hold zero pretty well for it to be an effective night shooting device it needs better IR illumination. ... show more

  • Laser light/ir combo
Excellent value for product that functions as explained. Feature rich with quality build.

  • Basically just a white/ir Flashlight
The laser would not adjust properly to sight in straight out of the box. Broke while adjusting, so now it is just stuck off target Only complaint I have so far, but a big one. Otherwise seems to work as advertised. I’ve tested both the white & IR flashlight modes, though not extensively. The flashlight modes are fine. ... show more

  • Same quality as the Surefire version. Exact copy.
Good for PCC or Pistol. Not bright enough for a rifle. Good quality. Better than buying the equivalent Surefire. This is made very well. Just like the Surefire that they copied. Chinese products are very high quality now! You get more than what you pay for!

  • Lost zero fairly quickly
I really want to make this a good review or at least give the company some credit because I was very impressed at the beginning. But in the end the unit failed to hold zero for me. The good: First off, the fit and finish, the mount, the laser quality and the overall unit are very nice! The laser and the Ir laser slave function worked very well. I mounted it a .22 and downed 4 pigs the first night I used it. I was very happy and impressed with the unit. Its a pinch heavy for a pistol but also adds a nice weight for a steadier aim. An observation: The lasers are not centered under bore. If you zero the laser at a short distance, say 20 yards, you’re only going to be accurate at 20 yards. At 40 it will be way off. If you zero to say, 200 yards, you have to account for the fact that the laser will be zeroed 1 1/2 inches low and 1/2 inch left at the muzzle. So if you are doing something like trying to hit a tiny pig brain at 20-30 yards with a .22, you will miss the brain if you aim the laser where you want the bullet to go. Thats standard laser stuff, and not a huge deal, but having the laser under bore would have been one less thing to factor in. If you want it for a pistol doing center mass at 10 yards or airsoft, I’m sure Its perfect for you! At this point i would have given the unit 5 stars. With the negatives being that the visible light is pretty weak, and the selector switch is hard to manipulate, especially with gloves. But for the price, very minor details. The Ugly: I mounted it on my Glock 17 and the zero walked all over the place. Put it back on the .22 and it walked there too. Total round count, 14 rounds through the .22, 30 through the 9mm. Started losing zero after the 19th round. Checked the mount and it seemed secure. I will assume I got a bad unit which is a bummer because while it worked, it worked beautifully. Give yours a thorough work out before trusting your life to it. ... show more
