Super quiet outdoor condenser. Barely makes any noise and really cools well. After about 6 months of use the indoor air handler is a little bit noisier than new but still quiet and works excellent. Installation pretty easy and did it myself. Just need to buy a pump and vacuum the lines. Recommend buying a wall sleeve as well as this didn’t come with one. The heat option works but very in efficient. All in all I’m very happy with how this unit cools my insulated finished garage even with the outdoor temps over 100 during the summer. I put in mr cool units in my old house they were twice the price and the outdoor condensers were way louder. Can’t believe how quiet this thing runs while functioning beautifully. Highly recommend for cooling and I’m going to buy another.

2 year update. - Now the inside fan blower went out. What a hunk of junk. Every major component has failed. Waste of money Edit: After a year the outside unit failed and inside fan motor is now going out. Pay more and stay away from Rovsun. You cannot buy parts for anything -----If you want to save money on you electricity bill, this is a great way to do it! Super efficient, really quiet. easy to install for the home handy man. You will need to buy a vacuum pump, which I did. You can get a cheap one on Amazon for less than $70 that has gauges and pump. I doubt the vac/gauge set would be good for professional ac man, but for the occasional handy man, it works great. Instructions are fair but lacking details. I have installed several Mr Cool units prior to this so I knew what to expect. Gave a lower tech support rating because of manual, Instructions are about what you get with anything wrote in China. Everything else is great.

When you install it, it works great as AC. Not sure abote heating yet. Heat pump –– where??? It really works great, as a split system supposed to, not the first I have, it is quiet, does not make 'wind" but rather genly pours cooled air, comfortable humidity, here I would give five stars. The other issue is installation. I guess they assume that ine calls a contractor (at least doubling the cost). If this is what you want to do, I think it is a great choice. Installation instructions are poorly written, youtube helps more, it misses electric cables, it is not really pre–assembled. Installation is doable, but be prepared, it is not trivial, not nearly "plug and play".

i think the installation of theses is fairly straight forward. If you do a little research on youtube and plan etc.. They work great i put three in my Mobile home over that last couple of years, replacing a central air unit. House is much more comfortable at a higher temp now. The power usage has dropped slightly. i just finished the third and probably last unit and now that we are not using the central system i expect to use even less power. This is mostly because the central system utilizes the floor vents doesn't seem to work well with AC. We live in Arizona its been about 110 the last couple of weeks no complaints from me.

I am VERY Impressed, bought 2 for 12'x20' rooms.. 2F outside with wind chill at Minus 12.. Turned the unit on at 75F and it was putting out warm air and brought the room from 66F to 71 within an hour before I turned it off as it was too hot for me... It easily cools the rooms.. Very quiet and ohh so easy to install.. ****I was told this model was R32, IT IS NOT, It is R410A****

Installed this unit in a 610 sq ft garage with 10’ ceilings. The garage is well insulated and this thing works great! 105 outside and I can keep the inside 74 all day. Directions are a bit screwed up but able to get through it. Unit is super quiet and blows super cold air.. for China built I am very impressed 👍

Their return policies are a scam. Not to mention they don’t pay for shipping it back. Then they give a person the run around for two months and nothing get resolved. If I had the chance to order some other brand again. I’d buy from an other company before this ROVSUN. I had to give one star even though it shouldn’t be any stars.

So far unit is running as it should, in both heat and cool modes. Turbo function really does the job Had a HVAC professional finish the install., otherwise the installation can be done by a DIYourselfer capable of reading instructions and taking one’s time Will post update if run into issues
