At first I thought I made a mistake getting a 1 inch barrel size curling iron. But this one definitely delivered all my wishes for the right size curl ability for me. I have naturally wavy hair that can look overly dry and out of control puffy if not styled. I have thin hair on top and thicker at the bottom. So I allow my hair to hair dry or scrunch up while blow drying on med heat. Rarely do I use any conditioner, either during wash or after products. While still a touch damp, where you can barely feel it, I start with small or medium strands of hair. Wrapping it near the middle , twisting and gliding the barrel to allow the hair to go all the way to the end, making sure I get that end piece in so I don’t have frays when done. I slide the barrel out after a few seconds. I put mine on the highest temperature setting and it curls up super fast without damaging the hair. A real time saver! The barrel itself has a smooth coating which I love because the curl glides out easy and no damage. It can get hot enough to burn with blisters if not careful where you’re putting your hands on it. I misjudged once and learned my lesson. It has a nice large tip on it that really helps with that. Just remember to use it! A glove is included, but I haven’t had a need to use it. This is the BOSS of all other curling irons. It’s so durable and has a nice long thick cord with a Velcro wrap. I found it easier to use by cutting the Velcro off and then wrap it when done because it’s attached. You will not be disappointed with this overall high quality curling iron. Just wish I had found this one sooner!

This Curling iron heats up So quickly! It’s super smooth and does not pull on your hair. It has a long barrel. I have long hair and this curling iron is perfect! I would repurchase and glad I bought it for the price as it looks and feels like salon quality.

This is the best curling iron I’ve owned! My hair usually doesn’t hold a curl very well but this made my hair hold it shape for days! It also doesn’t make my hair smell burnt. The cord is super long so it’s easy for me to move around my bathroom and it’s super light. The adjustable heat makes it easier for me to figure out what’s best for my hair and it looks cute too!

*Update/ after owning this for less than 6 mo the, the plastic piece busted off of the handle (the part you hold) It’s too hot to hold now and I am no longer able to use it. Sad considering I have other irons that have lasted years! I have thick hair and the length is just past my shoulders. I've always wanted a longer barrel curling iron but never took the plunge. I am so glad I finally did! This long barrel really helps to make nice curls, whether it's a beachy wave or a full curl....this iron does the trick! I do wish the clamp was a tiny bit stronger, but I haven't had any issues so far. I contemplated buying the larger size, but the 1" barrel is working nicely for my hair....the curls aren't too kinky...just a nice perfect curl. I feel like it gets hot enough to curl my hair nicely and I haven't even used the highest heat setting yet. It doesn't damage my hair or get caught, so I am very happy so far! I've used it several times and I hope it lasts a long time because I am very happy with it.

I am able to turn the iron on and set temp but it turns off even while in use after about 30-40 seconds. I tried multiple times, all the temp settings and none of them work for more than 1 minute before the iron shuts off. Useless

I purchased this a year ago, and it has been my favorite curling iron. But the cord got twisted and it was always a hassle to use. I don’t wrap the cord around it either it started happening within the first month but I just felt with it. The past few months the black coating has been coming off, and the cord makes it almost impossible to use, every time you stretch it out it winds back up and unplugs from the wall 😭 This has been my favorite because of the longer barrel for my long hair and I get the curls I want but even my cheaper conair wand lasted longer.
