This is a great unit at a great price. Works good, is very quiet and is easy to install. You will need to use a vacuum pump on this as it is not 100% DIY. Also this uses the older 410a Freon that is being phased out. Maybe why the price was soo good. But it works very good and is very quiet inside and out, "Very Quiet" and has a larger air handler for better cooling, But If you do not have access to a vacuum pump? Unit will keep a 1280 foot older mobile home cool and comfortable in auto mode set at 72 deg during the heat of the day and for the first time after replacing the main unit 2 times in the last 15 years at $13k plus each time this $2200 unit hands down beats the old outdated energy hog condenser/air handler unit. I purchased 2 units from this company and had them professionally installed and neither unit has works…..it just blows out outside temp air into the rooms. I have asked for a refund but the company stalls with questions Do not buy from this company

I will start off by saying I do HVAC for a living so I have worked on a lot of different units. The Install was easy even if you never did it before. My package that had the condenser/outside coil was delivered somewhere else and customer service was amazing, quickly sent me a new one. The condenser was dented in a few spots but that was due to shipping as the package was smashed and ripped but that's not the sellers fault. The only complaint I have is that the inside coils make a strange noise like something metal hitting the fan blade but doesn't happen all the time but enough to bother my toddler well she sleeps. For that reason I give it a 4 out of 5. I would recommend this to anyone that wants an easy to install, budget multi zone mini split. The price is great and in my opinion the more expensive brand aren't worth it. ... show more

    • Saved me over $100 a month on cooling/heating last year.
Installed the minisplit myself but only because I already had everything I needed to do the job. Saved approximately $100 a month on cooling and heating last year, my furnace and central air unit are very inefficient. So after 8 months the minisplit had paid for itself. If someone else had to install then I am sure the cost would probably be 3 times as much. Wasn't blowing very cold back in May and then I checked the filter on top and it was plugged with dust. After cleaning the filter was blowing cold again so make sure to keep the filter clean. Looking to buy one more and completely eliminate the need for the furnace and central air. Also was able to heat even in single digit temps, was pretty impressed. ... show more

We’ve had the unit about a month. Our first ever hvac install, but we’re experienced with home renovation and basic electrical. We do quite a bit ourselves and usually never have issues with instructions. The instructions were not good. There was a lot that was not clear. We had to reach out to Rovsun which was not very responsive at all and took days to respond. After the install we kept getting a P1 code on the unit which was not in the list of error codes in the manual. We had to reach out to them AGAIN and waited days for a response. They provided a list of codes and some workflows to trouble shoot. We really found the solution on our own as their information was too convoluted. Also the feet on the outside unit to anchor with bolts, are too tucked under the unit- that to get the appropriate bolt in, it scrapped the paint off the unit. All that said, once you navigate through the poor instructions, the unit works great. It’s quiet and had great features. The only feature that we wish it had was that when you set it to a temp, that the inside unit turns on and off as needed to keep that temp. There is an Auto feature, but with this the inside unit is always on, only the outside unit turns on and off as needed. For reference we have a 1,200 sqft home and this 1 unit can cover the entire house. Of course rooms furthest from the unit aren’t quite as cool, but definitely still within a few degrees and comfortable. So Far, worth the price, just be prepared for poor instructions. ... show more

We have had this unit through the hottest part of the Arizona summer and now through the winter. It has kept us comfortable through it all we love it and would buy again. Self Installation was not a problem.
