I originally bought this to hang on a sliding barn door to have something nicer to look at than the toilet/bathroom door, but then I moved into a rental. I thought I wouldn't be able to use it and then discovered that it comes with legs and can be used as a free-standing fireplace. It is PERFECT for my apartment and just having the flames on makes the room FEEL warmer and cozier without even turning on the heat option! There are nearly a dozen color options, three flame levels, the option to have it blow out heat like a space heater (thermostat and three power levels), AND you have the option of either having 'logs' in the bottom or clear glass-like crystals to customize the way you want it to look. I am extremely impressed with the options and how well it works. My cat likes it as much as I do!

The media could not be loaded. I purchased the 30” heater, for a small space (approximately 100sqft) and it arrived today. It was simple to install on the wall, involving a total of 9 screws. Note: two of the screws require a screwdriver or a drill extension. The heater immediately warmed the room, with the door open. The blower is almost silent. And the visual of the logs and fire are very realistic. I would purchase this again.

Gets hot very fast, several flame colors to choose from, nice and slim so it can be placed anywhere. Thats about all there is to say. Good little 'fire place' for the money. Update: The controller is confusing. There is a button that looks like 3 squiggly 'heat' lines. You have to press that TWICE in order to turn the heat on. Not sure what pressing it once does. Theres also an extra button that is not used. It's shaped like a thermometer. I believe this is because this is using a mass produced remote originally intended for a specific model. It seems to be widely used by cheaper models though, so some of the buttons just don't do anything on certain models, especially the thermometer button.

I will try to make this short but I am very happy with this unit and it was by far the most cost efficient model I could find. First... my wife has been dragging around an old fireplace mantle for 14 years and when we purchased a condo in Florida she was going to put it up against a wall and put a plant in the middle. I thought I could do something a little more unique. In all the reviews for this LED fireplace that I looked at people simply hung this unit on a wall and it sticks out 5 1/2 to 6 inches because the heater is in on the bottom of the unit (I did mention we are in Florida so the use of the heater is not that important but maybe one day it will get cold). I built a platform and slapped a wood panel against the back of the mantle. I placed peel and stick stone tile on the back and placed granite tile for a hearth. I then hung the fireplace unit on a sliding drawer type stand that I created so that it could be flush against the stone front when not in use and when using just the fire effect, but because it lifts the unit about 6 inches up you can slide the unit out and run the heater over the granite tile if you want a little warmth. It took a week or so for me to figure out how to design the drawer slide in just the right manner and my wife had her doubts while it was in progress. However, we are both very happy with the final product and this unit will now let us have a realistic fire in our fireplace 12 months a year in Florida. With heat or without heat. Just one last note...this unit does not have a remote but with the drawer slides it is easy to turn on and off by using the controls on the side of the unit.

I’m so sorry to say that I’m very unhappy with this purchase. I think this is such a beautiful item! Gorgeous! The flames are realistic! The color options are amazing! But my issue is that it heats for one minute only and then no heat at all. I bought it to heat as well as look beautiful. I’m stuck because I threw the box away too soon and no warranty that I know about. I don’t even know who to contact for customer service. Nothing is listed in the instruction manual. So unfortunately I cannot recommendation this item.

I ordered mine a couple months before I could get my entertainment built. So I never took it out of the box. Once I got everything set up I turned it on and it was making a loud noise then it started smelling like an electrical fire so I turned it off and started to request a replacement. My replacement time had passed on Amazon so I contacted the seller. They were so GREAT! They told me they'd send a replacement. No Hassle for me at all. My new one came and it worked perfectly and I absolutely love it! It heats the room up nicely and looks amazing. Im guessing the first one got hit or dropped during shipping or something. I couldn't figure out how it could've happened because the way they pack this is so well done and secure that the shipping company had to really have shook this thing to mess it up. Regardless the replacement is fine and its great and the customer service was amazing. Deff recommend
