  • Works really well.
Style: Gold Size: 850W
I like the colors and the power quality of the product. It is super quiet and is still going strong while powering through 780 watts of total usage would recommend to everyone.

  • So far ao good. Powering 4090 and 7800x3d like a champ.
Style: Gold SFX ATX 3.0 Size: 850W
So far so good. Its silent has a 0rpm fan mode for low loads. Seems to deliver clean power have never had a hickup so far. The PCIE5.0 compatible gpu cable makes this a great option for no compromise build.

  • Thermaltake is good quality
Style: Gold Size: 850W
You Can't go wrong with Thermaltake. This is my 8th PSU from them and I've never had one fail, few ran years without total shutdown, through surges and all. I don't test them anymore, besides software tests. I guess they can be expensive. Edit: like others have noted you can't install this fan up. Look at all the user pics and take my word. It's great but Thermaltake didn't tap additional holes considering most cases wouldn't consider their mount. It's on them to provide the screw tap to accommodate irregular mounting. Most cases cover the psu area too. You can see the glow under the case or through the window though. I don't really like mounting against instructions but don't think it hurt. ... show more

  • Oh, the 10pin connector comes off the 24 pin!
Style: Gold Size: 650W
I thought I had a bad cable at first. I couldn't find the 10 pin connector that goes with the 14 pin one for the motherboard. Somehow when we were installing it my son tucked the 10 pin behind a drive bay by mistake. I didn't realize that it came off the 24 pin connector on the Motherboard. I was about to process a return when I started taking it all apart and found that I missed that connector and was able to get everything working after that. Seems to be plenty of power for a 5800X driving a 3060Ti. For the price this thing is a great value. I do feel that the connectors have a mate finish to them and somehow that those ribbon cables just feel a little cheaper than what I'm used to in higher end models. In the end, it's a minor cosmetic thing as they work just fine. ... show more

  • Worked for about 3 years then started causing issues.
Style: Gold Size: 750W
I currently run a 5700xt and a 5800x with no over clocks, i started having issues with my pc shutting off entirely and refusing to power back on while gaming. I ruled out overheating, cpu issues, ram issues, and graphics issues. I have since had to replace my power supply because of these sudden shut offs. I would receive no error messages upon restart or anything out of the ordinary. It worked well for the time i had it, until it started to die on me. A good budget option but you will definitely need to upgrade in the future if you have the same issues i have. ... show more

  • The RGB went out almost immediately...
Style: ARGB Gold Size: 750W
So much for buying a RGB PSU... The RGB is a gimmick and clearly has not been tested to not short itself. The PSU itself works fine. The RGB died almost immediately after installation and never came back on, even after an hour of troubleshooting.

  • Besides an aesthetic choice not bad
Style: Gold SFX ATX 3.0 Size: 1000W
After opening the box and comparing to a certain 750w sfx psu this is a sfx-l psu but I do like that the plugs aren't sticking out of the psu housing like other sfx-l psus. The 12vhpwr cable on mine is showing 600w so I'll see if my 4090 actually gets to the point of power usage. The only complaint I have so far is the 12vhpwr connector having braided sleeving yet the rest of the provided cables do not along with being a very basic cover them all at once sleeving job. If your gonna sleeve do them all or not at all. ... show more

  • Great Value Power Supply
Style: Gold Size: 650W
So far this power supply has been fantastic. I have previously bought other Thermaltake items, but had never really heard anything about their power supplies. I was looking for a fully modular supply to replace my EVGA 500W because I did not have enough room behind my motherboard tray to install an SSD with all the extra cables from the non-modular EVGA unit and the cable extensions I had on some of the leads. The cables of this unit occupy a relatively tiny amount of room compared to a non-modular unit. I was able to relocate a 3.5 inch hard drive to the back of my case (Fractal Design Nano S) and install the SSD in the front compartment. I was also surprised by the quality of the cloth bag that comes with the power supply to hold any extra cables. The RGB is a nice addition considering the price and all of the other features included, but it isn't the best implementation. The fan LEDs can either slowly cycle through all of its possible colors, display solid red, display solid green, display solid blue, display solid white (which isn't a very pure white, it has a bluish tint to it), or be off. It most definitely cannot display more than one color at once as the product image would suggest. Perhaps in a future version of this power supply a better implementation of the RGB lighting would be to have a long press of the button change between the modes and preset colors (what the short press does now) and allow a short press to pause the color cycle in the mode that slowly changes between all the colors. That way it would be possible for the user to have a wider array of static colors if they do not like any of the presets. As for noise, the power supply is not audible over the other case fans and my CPU cooler. I appreciate the inclusion of the smart-zero fan switch, but I always leave the fan on considering it does not add any noticeable noise and it allows me to use the supply as a secondary exhaust fan for my system. So far the only drawback to this power supply aside from the aforementioned lack of full RGB customization is the red connectors for the PCI power cables and the sheer amount of colors on the stickers on both sides. For a product that claims to have implemented RGB as a way to let the user customize their color scheme, using these colors over black and white just doesn't make sense. Overall, this is a great power supply, especially for the asking price. If you are looking for a power supply that will add that extra little bit of flair to your PC, look no further, this is it. ... show more
