This little heater packs a punch, putting out enough heat so we're able to turn the heat in our house down 3 degrees. Definitely helps. We turn it off at night but while we're in the LR at night it makes a huge difference. Plus, it's really beautiful and adds nice ambience to the room. We are able to put it on top of a cabinet, not real big 18 inches I believe but puts out a good amount of heat, perfect for us.

I updated my review from 3 to 4 stars. At first the heater had a strong weird chemical smell which lasted a few weeks but has mostly gone away now. Also 20$ for shipping seems a little excessive but the heater price being affordable seemed to make it worth it. Also, it made an annoying faint puttering noise while the flames were on which I found difficult to ignore. I bought a sound machine that makes crackling fire sounds so now I just use that to cover the sound the heater makes. It's creates nice vibe to the room and the heat output is decent for a small/medium sized room. So I am pretty pleased with it and wanted to be fair and update the review, I have had it a little over a month now.

This little heater/fireplace is absolutely darling. It really pumps out steady heat and looks like it is really burning wood. Having a door that opens adds to the real feel but without the mess or danger. The car loves it too!

The media could not be loaded. Product is the perfect fit for any size room. It's very welcoming in an apartment size area. I keep it in my master bedroom. I love that it can also turn off the heat, when not in use or if its too warm. but keeps the flame effect on to set the mood. *wink*.

The media could not be loaded. This heater is the best!! The fire is so realistic I have to remind myself that I can set things on top of the unit, and itโs totally safe! As it gets colder and colder in Chicago, Iโm more and more grateful to have it! Itโs nice that thereโs an option to have the heat on or off, (itโd still be pretty to turn the fire on in the summer!) and the fan on the heater is a very hushed sort of white noise. Definitely recommend purchasing!

Got 2 of these heaters for my mother. The house she lives in is old and drafty especially in the bedroom and living room. They put out the heat! To the point she has to turn them off! Worth every penny! She absolutely loves them!

I wanted a small, realistic flame, fake fireplace that had a low heat setting and this checked all the boxes and did it very well. I checked it with a Kill-A-Watt meter. 5 watts for flame only, 735 watts for flame + low heat and 1350 watts on hi with the flame. I would definitely buy this little heater again and recommend it for anybody looking for one.
