I really like this! We put it in my nail studio to keep under control during the seasons. So far we have only had it for summer weather but it stays nice and cool. It was easy to install (mounting) and my husband said it was pretty easy to hook up (power). I also like how small it is, it fit perfectly where we needed it. It does get shipped in 2 boxes so be prepared to get them at different times, ours arrived 2 days from each other. ... show more

Bought 2 and both leaked from outside unit from day one. Both units held vacuum for 2 hours with no leaks before releasing Freon. Installed in rv and did not have nearly as much airflow as factory rooftop ac.

Took a chance and so far the unit is working great. Both the heating and cooling. The head arrived first and the next day the rest of the unit. I already own a Mr Cool unit and this is almost a copy of that. The only thing that made this unit seem cheaper is the plastic on the inside unit seemed a bit cheap. I did have to purchase a vacuum pump (150 bucks)that added to the price to install it but did not mind. There is a slight possibility I might purchase another one if this unit remains problem free. Also this unit is almost 3 times cheaper than the Mr Cool unit I purchased. This is a follow up review. As far as the unit working after almost 8 months of service no complaints but cleaning the blower have fun I didn't. I have keep the washable filters clean but I made a mistake of getting a flashlight and looking up into the inside units blower and wow it was black and caked on dust. The blower when clean is blue. I am not going to explain how to get up in there just look it up and watch some Youtube videos. I should of took pictures. My main problem is it should be a easy way to get to the blower and clean it and there isn't. Taking away one star. Also the MrCool unit I have has the same problem and was real bad after almost 2 years of service and almost no easy way to get to the blower. ... show more

This AC unit works well, keeps the room cool and comfortable. I’ll test the heating function when the weather gets colder. I was impressed with how quiet it is both inside and outside the house. Easy to install but specialized equipment is required such as an air compressor with vacuum capabilities and gauges. I installed the units myself but because I didn’t have the equipment needed, called a professional for the connection between the two units.
