Top Amazon Reviews

  • Hi end features at an excellent price!
Color: Black Style: KULLTER-60V23.4AH
I was not paid to write this review and usually don't take the time to write lengthy reviews unless I'm truly impressed or disappointed with a product. This is my honest review and experience. First off it shipped fast out of Ca. To Wa. And got the scooter about a week ahead of expected delivery. Packaged pretty nicely, and assembly was pretty easy, basically pop it out of the box, pop up the grips on the handlebars adjust the controls to your liking tighten them down and your done (although always a good idea and I recomend checking all fasteners for tightness.) My unit came 90% charged and took about 2-3 hours to top it off. An issue I did have was the valve stem on the front tire was damaged and broken along with a scratch on the tire and rim so it would not hold air so I could not ride it right away. I contacted the seller which put me in contact with the "engineer" Steve. Seems like a good guy, he called me at what would have been around 2am in China with the time difference and took less than 12 hours to get in contact with someone, a real person who wants his product to do well no less. He assured me that the issue would be resolved and am in the process of contacting him via Whatsapp to have a new front tire assembly shipped to me but am still in the process so will update with how that plays out but imagine it will take some time to warranty this. (I ended up fixing this myself, the time difference trying to warranty this part turned out to be more inconvenient than buying the part and doing it myself was much more efficient) But unlike Hover 1 who I have yet to speak with anyone in 3 weeks after submitted a warranty ticket having received a defective scooter factory direct from Hover 1 it was nice to at least get the process started already with Rovoron. Back to the scooter, so I didn't want to wait for a replacement part or return the scooter for such minor cosmetic damage and a broken valve stem and being mechanicaly inclined I ordered the parts off Amazon and had it overnighted and fixed it myself with little difficulty so I could take it for a ride and make sure there was no other glaring damage or defects and check it out. I have a few (7) scooters ranging from 90watts to this little monster at 4k peak output. So I've only clocked 7 miles so far but from the first pull on the throttle I was impressed, but some caution is also needed, I'm 6'3" 220 and this thing ripped a huge power wheelie off the line almost catapulting me backwards off the scooter squealing the rear tire leaving a small trail of rubber on the ground. The square wave motor controller is not as smooth as some sighnwave controllers used in some scooters but I got used to it fairly easy and the function of this scooter is highly customizable so you can "de-tune" it bocomes very very mild yet very capable still which was very impressive. From there you can dial things back up and most settings have 3 to five strengths avail. With the power being adjustable from 5-100% by increments of 1 but straight out of the box on a full fresh charge the thing absolutely rips and is not even on the max settings! I have 2 other duel motor scooters, one 700w nominal and one 900w nominal (this one is around 2400 nominal I believe) and this thing is in a different class, the suspension is smooth, you stand high off the ground but this thing feels and seems super stable, going 20mph feels like about 10 mph on most commuter or entry level scooters. It maintains 20-25mph effortlessly even on hilly terrain or long inclines and whatever speed your at if you give it more throttle it gives you a little kick in the pants like the scooter replying you want more, okay here's more! I had no problem reaching 40mph on level ground even with my large frame standing tall trying to be the least aerodynamic I could. It never felt gutless at any speed, you get that nice electric motor torque even when the settings are lowered. (Please if you plan on riding this scooter fast, please be responsible and never exceed posted speed limits and wear the proper riding gear for the speeds you plan on riding at, from experience crashes at any speed especially in excess off 15-20mph can cause serious injury regardless what your riding or driving so be safe out there) I rode it hard and heavy for 7 miles and it seemed to laugh at everything I threw at it, motors and battery housing stayed pretty cool to the touch and it used about 18% of the battery on this hot lap. There is moderate voltage sag (3-5volts on average) when you really ride it hard asking for lots of power especially on inclines which gives me some concern about longevity of the battery if you really work it hard and heavy since this usually indicates that a standard lithium cell was used rather than a premium cell like lg or Samsung for instance but it but also seems to balance normally after a big sag so doesn't appear to be something to be highly concerned about but I did notice it was just slightly higher sag than I'm used to seeing but also a shows the controllers are really pushing some power I'm really impressed with this scooter so far. Once I've had a chance to really ride this thing with will deffenetly update this review but after 7 miles this thing feels solid well built and of quality and am extremely happy with this purchace at under $1050 to my doorstep and would deffenetly purchace again and do recommend it at this point. I don't see much competition at this price point and nothing with the amount of features performance range and programibility until your paying at least a few hundred hundred or possibly thousands more depending on the model to get what you get in the KULLTER. I have about 60 miles on it now and have had no issues so far and am very impressed with the scooter. I've gotten 60 miles on around 2 full charges but have only been running the battery down to between 30-40% so 25-30+ miles per charge seems accurate under the right conditions and not as aggressively ridden as I have been. I honestly have never been a fan of trigger throttles but after a few rides this combo is done really well and controlls the square wave controller a lot smoother and accurate with almost no play or dead spots and almost feels like sine wave controllers, your able to really modulate your speed very easily and in small increments if desired. The brakes works well also, it comes with the e-abs turned on and the Regen turned up but I recommend riding with this function off and Regen on 2-3 unless your somewhere with long steep declines and or heavy traffic and run the risk of cars pulling out in front of you these functions slow you down extremely fast and an inexperienced rider could find himself unbalanced but still better than flying over the hood of a car at full speed and once you get used to it adds another level of control/safety and customizable riding experience. The regenerative brakes works well also and on the highest setting you really have to be ready for them because they do slow you down in a hurry, I have found levels 1-2 to give the smoothest ride for me and the disk brakes also work well on there own but stopping distances get a little longer and slowing from speed going downhill a little more difficult but easier on your motors and internal components, on a fresh charge be cautious the Regen brakes may be very subtle I presume to prevent over charging the battery pack but once you have ridden a few hundred feet usually operate normally. The suspension is really nice and I personally prefer the shocks found on this scooter over the springs on some of my others. Although non adjustable like some springs, the suspension feels just about perfect to me, I wouldn't want the ride any softer or rigid than it is right out of the box and they don't get bouncy if the surface is really bumpy. I imagine they will soften over time as most gas shocks do and occasionally I have bottomed the front shocks out a few times but it took a pretty good force for it to happen so I believe it would take some pretty extreme riding for this to be an issue, again I'm 220 so a lighter rider may not ever experience it or may be more common once you start reaching the weight limit, but for me seems just right but also worth noting. The tires are nice also, softer compound than is on my other scooters, but don't seem to be wearing at a horrible rate and unfortunately have ridden over broken glass and thorns several times already but haven't had a puncture yet. At this point I am very pleased with this scooter and would make this purchase again, it has no glaring flaws or faults and gives you a lot for your dollar, lots of "swag" light options on the stem that flash, pulsate, and change color which is nice if you want to draw attention or be more visible in low light conditions while riding, or can be turned off if you don't, although the remote to change them has a little difficulty comunicating with the censor which is located inside the base of the stem and the remote is the only way to control the lights, it would be nice to be able to control them from handle controls if you where to lose the remote but it does not have that option. ... show more

  • Rovoron Kullter 200 mile review
Color: Black Style: KULLTER-60V23.4AH
FIRST thing, change setting Pd to 0. This turns off ABS. This is not on page 11 in the manual. ABS is intolerable. With setting PA set at 4 the regen braking is strong. Try 1 first. P0 set to 9.8 I have an accurate speedometer. 45 psi. Check with your GPS speed. P7 slow start is good at 2 or 3 so not to spin the front tire on takeoff. P9 Battery Save. Seems like 1(max save) 50%, 2(mid save)75%, 3(no save) 100%. Setting 3 for hills. I use gear or pas 2 on this run. My region is very hilly, up and down. P9 setting 3 is 5-7mph faster uphill. Battery % and voltage: My max charge is usually 66.6V. The low voltage warning blinks of the display kick on below 54.2 or so. Voltage drop at full throttle as much as 4 volts on P9-3(no save). Showing 50% and blinking with full throttle voltage sag to 53.7V. Braking, with regen, then at rest back to 60V. You've got to learn the Voltage. Battery percentage isn't reliable, watch the voltage. I believe battery % can vary between scooters of the same model. Some days % seems different than the last. Battery heat during rides is a probable factor. Cons: The charger gets pretty warm, I have a small fan blowing over it when charging. Range 20.6 miles on the 23.4AH battery, P9-3 "NO SAVE", in the hills. I've pushed home or called for pickup at 21.9 and 21.6 miles. CONS: There's no key or NFC. The remote doesn't work, though I haven't tried a new battery. Purple is fine. There's a button below the charging ports to turn the lights off. That's good during daytime. Pros: It hauls a55. Pretty light at 70 lbs, 40+ MPH flat, 50 downhill, great price under $1000 shipped. Fit and finish are nice. On road tires are quiet and smooth. The motor noise is quiet but sounds cool. ... show more

  • I would Not Recommend this Product.
Color: Black Style: KULLTER-60V23.4AH
I would not recommend this product. I purchased on December 16, 2024, received on December 31, 2024. SInce I opened the box, the scooter made a strange noise when starting. I contacted customer support and they onstructed me to watch videos which I did, still did not solve the problem. I have a neighbor that had purchased the same one and his DOES NOT make the noise. There are 2 motors, front and back. The front one has never engaged, the rear one does. Again, I contacted customer/seller support. I did talk with "Steve" in China a couple of times, but the 15 hour time difference never seems to connect very well, getting cut off and still unable to fix. I have complained to Amazon, but no relief in site. Now I am looking for an e scooter shop to take it into. SInce having this scooter, I have ridden maybe 6 times as I am afriad to ruin it and when I start it is almost out of control with the back wheels locking. ... show more
