I actually really like these chairs. They’re pretty cute, I ordered the blue because they were so cheap, the color looks slightly more turquoise than in photos, but I wasn’t trying to match anything, so no big deal. I needed them at their full height for a breakfast bar, and they are slightly precarious at the top, but I can stand on the bar and hop up and not fall over, so that’s a plus. I intend to replace them once I find something perfect, but for $90 for two chairs, you really can’t beat the price. The hydraulic thing you have to sit first (out of the box), then try to adjust, but everything works perfectly, went together in about 2.5 minutes, and had a slight scratch on one of the bases, but again, paid $90, so I’m not concerned. They’re pretty comfy, but def sink a little lower once you put weight on then, so if you need the tallest height, expect them to be a little short if you’re more than 100 lbs. The media could not be loaded. We were in search of Mustard colored stools to add a pop of color to our kitchen. These are super easy to assemble and great quality. Leather is super soft and stools are able to support my 230+ lb/ 6’3” hubby without complaints. Great buy

They did not work for multiple reasons. 1. The base is not sturdy/ strong enough to keep these stools from tipping. This is an issue for young kids who can’t sit still. I didn’t feel like asking my kids to sit still on a daily basis. (Not a battle I wish to fight for the life of these stools.) kids wiggle
 Plus aging Grandparents, who may rely on chairs and stools for stability. I found these to tip easily when you try to get out of them or lean on them for support. 2. Seat is rather small for adults. It is nice that it cradles you but could be an issue for certain body types. 3. Do to the high sides, You can’t just slide in and off the sides of the stools. We like the option of not having to rotate the seat every time you want to sit. Sometimes it’s easier, especially for kiddos not to rotate the stool when others are already sitting at our counter. These are very pretty stools. They were quite easy to put together, only took about 15 minutes. It’s great how they go up and down from the lever. Unfortunately, they will tip over very easily. You can’t really get down from the highest position, you need to use the lever to go to the lowest position and get off from there. And then use the lever to move the stool to the highest position. Oh I love these! Easy to put together, comfortable, beautiful and exactly what you’d expect when purchasing. The only problem with them, is they’re obnoxious to get out of. So, when you get out, the chair comes off the ground. They seem too light in weight. So, I gotta find a way to weigh the bottom down. But I love them so much so I don’t mind. ... show more

I was able to put these together in less than 20 minutes and I am a female age 69. 4 pieces and 4 screws. MAKE SURE you take the black cap off of the bar before you put it into the base because if you sit on the seat without removing that black cap, it will jam that plastic cap in the bar and the height will not adjust. Besides that just common sense in putting the 4 pieces together ... show more
