I am a stager and needed a round glass table top quick. My local funiture store usually carries them, but a 42" and 48" round glass won't fit in my car and I didn't want to take the moving truck. So... I took a chance and ordered a glass top online. I figured it would be broken in transit, but it wasn't! It was in perfect shape, packaged really well! It's a fairly heavy piece of glass - I have other table tops that are lighter but this one is a bit heavier; a more substantial piece of glass with a nice beveled edge, which I always like when staging informal dining tables. As for scratches, I've moved it at least 6x since I got it over the summer and it's just fine. I don't think there is a "scratch resistent" glass, but if you're not scraping things down it, I think it will work just fine. Better than fine - it's stood up to several moves and several different place setting, and centerpieces. I will order again.
