Cut to size lay in the dehydrator and cleanup is a breeze. Before purchasing these sheets most things stuck to the dehydrator shelves. Well if your son grows hot peppers you really want easy clean up and proper distribution of heat.

I bought these because there aren't enough clear plastic sheets that came with my dehydrator. I tried to make my own out of window screening, but that didn't work out as well as I'd hoped. These do. No food falls through, everything is dried, so easy to clean up. If you do a lot of dehydrating, these are worth the investment. Using my dehydrator was such a pain because of how hard it was to clean between each of the slats and groves in the tray. Decided to buy these sheets and what a great decision that was. These sheets are slippery and nothing sticks to them. You can just wipe them clean and they keep the trays clean so there's so need to clean it. Now I use the dehydrator so much more since there isn't the pain of soaking and cleaning the trays. Great product. ... show more

"Never clean your trays again" is a bit of an exaggeration, but it's really close! I guess if you were extra careful not to let any of the food close to the edges it would be true. The food will not drop through the trays (so annoying when you are drying more than one type of vegetable and want to keep them separate). So easy to clean up after you are finished. This is one of the few things I would buy again immediately if for some reason they were damaged. I have dried numerous veggies and fruits and made salt free vegetable bouillon using these.
