These ROTTOGOON Glass Table Lamps in Modern Blue are precisely what I hoped they would be. I was curious how they would be shipped, considering they’re made of glass and have lampshades. There wasn’t much to assemble besides the lampshades, which had the fabric carefully rolled up. There were two wire rings, one slightly smaller than the other, with three spokes. The other ring was just that, a wire ring. The shade is made of heavy material with five small hooks at the top and bottom. It also has a thin strip of Velcro on each end to hold it together. The tiny hooks attach to the wire rings, and voila, you have a completed lampshade of good quality. The blue glass body of the lamp is well-made. Surprisingly, it was completely assembled—no wires to push through metal tubes or bases to connect to threaded rods. I was thrilled with how well it looked. The blue glass has white wisps of paint inside, giving it a marbled effect. It reminds me of the marbles I had as a child half a century ago. The pattern on each lamp is unique yet makes a perfect match. The silver base has two 5V 2A USB ports for charging phones and such. The electrical cord is about four feet long and has transparent insulation, so it doesn’t catch your eye. It’s all topped off with a pretty silver lampshade finial. An LED light bulb for each lamp is included, and it has three different color temperatures (2700K–4000K–5000K). The lamp switch selects each. Turning the switch brings on a color; switch it again, and the lamp goes off. You can repeat this cycle until you arrive at the desired color temperature. This is the only thing I don’t care for. I happen to like the 5000K. But I have to operate the switch five times to get back to that color after it’s been switched off. I will soon be replacing the bulbs with only 5000K bulbs. Conclusion: As we refresh our dated bedroom, this lamp pair fits perfectly into what we are working toward. I’m impressed with the quality of the lamps. They have exceeded my expectations, which qualifies them for a five-star review. If you’re looking for a pair of quality table lamps with shades, you’ll get two for the price of one with this set. I highly recommend them.

If you want what is seemingly the ubiquitous style of lamp available today, with remote controls and apps, colorful RGB lighting, etc., then this is not the lamp for you. As almost always, the lamp must be assembled. But unlike so many units where the body of the lamp is a series of rods that have to be screwed together, this is a real lamp, akin to one someone might have had in a living room decades ago. The blue color is like in the product description though perhaps not quite as vivid. What does require putting together is the shade, which is not that difficult. I think the shade could be better made and I wish its inside, with a smooth white surface, was the exterior thereof. The lamp is electric powered, not USB. The bulb is LED. The lamp is turned on and off not by a remote but rather by a good old fashioned switch that you have to reach in over the top to access as it is inside the shade. The lamp has three levels of brightness (the company says warm white, natural light or daylight). You turn the switch to change this, though between each level the lamp switches to off. If you remember the old three way light bulbs this is the closest comparison I can think of, but still not precisely. The lamp has no memory, so if there is a particular brightness you prefer next time you turn the lamp on you will have to cycle through the other settings, not a particularly odious task given the limited number of choices. The lamp's only concession to modernity, other than the supplied LED bulbs, is the two USB-A charging ports at the bottom. The lamp is solidly made and given that and its simplicity should last for some time. Its light output is decent if not quite spectacular. Again, this is not a modern lamp, neither in form (despite the manufacturer's claim) and certainly not in function; if that is what you are looking for definitely no not buy this. But if you want a solid lamp of good size (my own measurement was two feet tall) that produces nice light and looks good in its ambit then I think you can do far worse than this product.

I swapped all my contemporary den furniture out when I inherited my mother’s living room furnishings. We didn’t share the same taste. The end tables and table lamps I would call American Colonial. They have sentimental value for me. But when I saw this set I knew it was time to start updating with these elegant and colorful lamps. Do they go well with the colonial end tables? Nope! But they were very easy to assemble, though I wish the lampshade had come already finished. I don’t have the steadiest hand and it made me anxious. That’s my reason for one star removed. This is a nice concept for matching lamps at this price point. I didn’t check because I like the blue, but I think these would sell very well if they came in other colors. It’s nice to have a three way switch so the degree of brightness can be controlled. And having charging ports at the base is such a bonus. So nice!

I am loving these beautiful lamps. They are easy to assemble, very well made, and brightly lit. The USB ports are awesome for beside sofa or bedside. The color is an awesome sky blue that matches well with many decors. Good purchase and would make a nice housewarming gift.

These are full sized lamps, not a bedside table size. A lot of the lamps I see here are really too small for living room use for instance. But these are nice looking, well made. Easy to assemble, takes maybe 10 minutes. And includes an LED bulb. Which is a nice touch. The shades are white on this version. I think I would prefer a tan shade now that I see it. But you might see other shade colors are available if you look around. The cord length is a decent length, not to short like many are. If you like a blue lamp to go with your decor, these are a good choice.
