This lamp is top heavy and will not stay standing. It just tips over, even on the lowest height option. So bummed! Base needs to be heavier.

It’s really cute, putting together is kinda tricky. The cord is long and you have to keep swirling it to get it to connect one pole to the next. I have it standing on carpet and it wants to tip over and leans. The remote quits working and I have to keep unplugging and replugging the lamp to get the remote to work again. This happened twice to the remote so far and it’s getting harder to get it working again. This is not good because I mainly chose this lamp because of it having a remote and I need lamp placed behind the couch. It looks really cute, I love the option of light settings being adjustable, although can’t access those features without remote actually working. Probably wouldn’t recommend. ... show more

This is a nice lamp. As far as functionality goes, it works as advertised! I took two stars off for the lousy, confusing directions. The directions instruct you to "remove the c clamps", even my husband could not identify anything like a c clamp. He initially wondered if they were mistakenly referring to the plastic inside the tubes as c clamps, but they are not. The plastic apparently retreats when a tube is screwed into another tube. The second problem was the length of cord between two sections of tubing. A label on the outside of the lamp instructed us to "wrap the wire inside". The wire was so long and twisted that it could not be "wrapped inside" a tube. We then discovered that the black plastic connector between the middle two sections has a small plastic screw. Taking the screw out temporarily allowed us to pull the cord lower into the tube and we were finally able to screw those two sections together. Thankfully assembling the lampshade was fairly easy and intuitive. Once assembled and batteries installed in remote (2 AAA batteries not included), the lamp looked nice and functioned well. ... show more
