Not a fast change out but worth it. Installed on 2 different mowers. About 35yrs difference between them. I Used 480 channel locks to control spring pressure and another person to adjust shifter position and install pin to hold it on. Maybe an easier way. This worked twice for me.

Not a clue what year my mower is but based on the reviews I was willing to try it out. Handle works good but I would suggest getting a new handle and pin for the bottom.

Was not an exact replacement for my newer snapper but I was able to make it work. I had to purchase a new handle because the original was a twist lock and this one was threaded.

Well made. Needed to replace shift handle on older snapper. It was not an exact fit but knew that going in. Installed and works great.

    • Not like the original
It has a slightly larger diameter than the OEM. It doesn't fit in the slots to lock it into gear. I bought mine 4 years ago and made do but it recently broke from the weld. The OEM lasted 12 years.

Ad said the shift lever was for my model snapper. It was not! If your lever has two bends , this is the wrong one for you.
