3 pulls after I installed it, the handle broke off in my hand cutting me and pulling up half of a fingernail. I was willing to overlook this flaw, because cheap plastic breaks;It happens, whatever. I tied the handle from the original one back on. 3 days after installing, the entire mechanism grenades in an eruption of rope, broken plastic, and profanity. My original one lasted over 2 years (including rope), and only failed because it hit a tree going at least 240mph, this one couldn't survive 3 days under normal operating conditions. Maybe I got a bad one, maybe not, either way, I will not be purchasing this brand of recoil again ... show more

Easy install and worked well but the plastic pull handle broke the second time I used it. Went to Lowes and bought the rubber handle with medal inset and works fine. So the only down fall is the handle.
