So i just ended up buying a whole new set of strings and just use the bulbs to replace the burned out ones. Felt like a huge waste but economically it was a better option. These bulb replacements were hard to find. These seemed the most inexpensive of those listed here and on Ebay. I started having some bulb failure with my out door string lights. Taking the old bulbs out sometimes was easy just (wiggle and pull) and sometimes the plastic part pulled out leaving the LEDs and the mount with the pins. After turning off the power, one can reach up with needle nose plier and pull out the mounts easily in that case. Putting these in was simple. The picture showing the two pins being offset from center was what let me know I had the correct replacement bulbs. ... show more
