It is a pretty simple install except for when it's time to line up the holes with the downward screws -- that can be a little frustrating (and gives your shoulders a real workout if you're not installing with 2 people). But once you get one threaded, the other one is easy to get to fall into place. Looks great. It takes three 60w bulbs, so we put in some amber incandescent Edison bulbs and it gives a nice glow. We tested it out in our bedroom hallway and since it looked so nice, we got two more: one for the hallway to the kitchen and another in front of our bedroom closet. ... show more

This company cannot measure, they cut the middle achor for the globe a 1/2 inch too short, at max adjustments, so now I have to go find a new center screw on part from the store. Do not recommend buying this unless you like building your own fixture.

I got 6 wood grain for my basement. The fixtures were fine, my trouble was the electric boxes were fixed onto a dropped ceiling. Long screws couldn't be adjusted shorter because of the dropped ceiling bars. But I used shorted screws and it was fine. If the screws were still too long, I just put a regular nut to hold the fixture tight and put the decorative brown nut on the end of the screw. You couldn't tell from the floor. ... show more
