I really like mid-century modern while my partner leans towards more “modern” style decor. I think this piece is a great mix of both and I was looking for something of a specific size to fit in our living room and this was perfect. We just needed something for store games and to display my circus bar glasses. I believe the quality is pretty good and it’s a very stable piece. I also thought the instructions were very clear and whoever wrote them has a great sense of humor. They estimate 60 minutes to fully complete assembly so of course I had to time this and for me it took more like an hour and a half, but to be fair I was interrupted a couple of times and I did this completely by myself. And I was also watching Netflix the whole time - see the pic of instructions. I thought the doors would be the hardest part to put together by myself, but they were actually very easy. Unfortunately, one corner of the top piece was damaged, although the item was packed very well, and there was no visible damage to the shipping box itself. Since I was really excited about this piece, I went ahead and put it together and have reached out to customer support to see if they could replace the top piece so, hopefully I hear from them soon. If I don’t, I will update this review. UPDATE on the damaged part: The seller reached out and provided a $60 gift card since they don't keep spare parts on hand. They also offered to replace the entire product but I opted for the $60. ... show more

Awesome cabinets. I like the design a lot. Easy to assemble with fun instructions. Looks great and functional. Doors take some patience to align, but it’s definitely doable.

Bought four of these for a makeshift tv console. Fits beautifully in the space I needed. Expansive interior storage. Beautiful color. Easy to build and I did it alone. Lining up the doors was a slight challenge a couple of times but relatively easy to adjust.

I don't often write reviews but had to for this. It's so unusual these days for a product to be both affordable AND well made, but these are! They're extremely sturdy, they look much more expensive than they are. They directions are extremely easy to follow. I did use a drill for putting it together though it isn't recommended, I was just gentle with it, and I think it would have taken me a lot longer to do two of them if I hadn't. They even include extras of each screw, which is so thoughtful! It made me feel like they actually care about customer experience. I will for sure buy Nathan James in the future. ... show more
