This is priced at $189 for the RoseSkinCo Lumi IPL device, so I wanted to leave a detailed and honest review based on real use. I have been using it for about three weeks so far. According to the instructions, you are supposed to use it twice a week for three months, then once a month for another three months. At this point, I have completed six treatments. First, the device itself is very easy to understand and use. It is lightweight and comfortable to hold, even for longer sessions. There are two main modes. One requires you to press the button each time the light flashes, and the other automatically flashes about once per second as you glide it along the skin. Both modes work well, and the automatic mode is helpful for larger areas like legs, although it still takes time and focus. It has 6 brightness settings. Working at level 6, it can sometimes get a little hot, but has never burnt me or left a mark. My skin has never looked irritated from a treatment. This is not a quick process. You need to be prepared to sit and concentrate, especially if you are treating larger areas. The light is extremely bright, so I highly recommend wearing dark sunglasses while using it. It also has a fairly loud fan that runs continuously. It reminds me of a white noise machine, not unbearable but definitely noticeable. As for results, after six treatments I have not seen a dramatic reduction in hair yet. That said, the hair does seem to be growing back a bit slower than normal. My 18-year-old daughter is also using the device, and she feels like her hair is coming in more patchy than before. At this stage, it is still a little too early to say how effective it will be long term, but we are both committed to finishing the full treatment schedule before making a final judgment. I will be including before photos with this review, and I am hoping to update it in a couple of months with more noticeable results. I have also included a video of me using the device so others can see how it works in real time. Overall, the RoseSkinCo Lumi IPL device feels well made, user friendly, and gentle on the skin. If you are patient and willing to stay consistent, it seems promising, but this is definitely not an instant results product. I think the real value will show closer to the three-month mark, and I plan to update once I get there.

I have so many favorite things about this laser hair removal device. The functionality of it is absolutely elementary. Very easy to use although the instructions are a bit lengthy with many directions and things to keep in mind. I spent time having to review each page to make sure I don't mess up the treatment. Just know that there is a lot of reading involved and then understanding how to use the device. After the first two uses, I didn't need to reference the manual anymore. I mostly like the design on the device only it's hard to hold the device without blocking the ventilation exhaust which is the entire other side of the device. Device is pretty thick so it's harder for me to grip a certain way where I don't block the exhaust. IPL laser by RoseSkin is FDA approved! That's saying a lot about the rigorous testing by the feds. The basic mechanism of how hair gets removed is by way of laser flashes to the root of the hair. If you're going to use this on an area with hair that you want permanently gone, you need to shave it and not pluck out the roots. Otherwise this device renders ineffective or maybe even useless. The book states that difference in hair growth won't be obvious until many weeks later but here I am writing a sort of 'preview' review since it would take too long to test. So I am here just mainly sharing my experience with using the machine. It flashes very bright lasers. Even if you close your eyes while scanning the device through your skin, you can still see extremely bright light. I don't feel comfortable looking at it, so I even wear a blindfold. I have also used the device with my eyes open looking at it while treating certain spots on my body. It's blinding almost. Initially using it on my skin, I don't feel the heat. It's only after it's really warmed up after a minute or so and with higher intensity do I really feel the heat. I don't like the high heat levels so I tone it down. So far I have been making it a routine to treat the spots I want every other day. I will be back with better results after a full 3-6 months of treatment. It does seem very expensive for a device that you would only probably use once in a long while. Laser does not permanently delete hair, it only damages the follicles so hair growth is 90% slower in growing back. I lent these out to all my friends and family to use. This is a good item to share.
