I was very surprised 1) because it’s a real plant, I expected some minor damage, maybe even mangled limbs. 2) very vibrant, green and alive. It is HEALTHY. 3) it looked small and weak, but upon carefully removing the packaging, it expanded and is very layered. All in all, the people who picked, packaged and delivered this lovely plant are very smart, and great growers. I am very happy with this plant, and the way it arrived. Now, the rest is up to me!

I got this as a gift for my husband as he LOVES ferns & he saw a pic of these on the net & feel in love with them. The very next week I saw this one on Amazon so even though the price was a bit more then I would liked to of spent -and normally Don't spend as much on plants, I went ahead and ordered one for him. It arrived nicely packaged. It was BEAUTIFUL!!!!!! Prettier then the pics on the net. A little smaller then I expected but we've had it for about a month now & it's already grown A LOT in that time. Unfortunately, it's our own fault but as with most ferns, they do NOT like to completely dry out. They always like to have a least a little moisture in their pot. And my husband let it go too long without a watering & immediately it looks half dead now. I was SO MAD at him!! I am hoping it will survive but the fact of the matter is, you just can't let any ferns completely dry out-not like succulents or cactuses (which is what I collect) So we have it a good watering and just have to wait & see. But when it was healthy, it loves the humidity (it's around 40-60% here & wintertime) & loves to be misted daily with rain water. As soon as it's spring, I plan on transplanting it as the pot it came in seems a bit small for it but I know they do like to be a big root bound. All in all, it's a Lovely plant!! Just have to pay close attention to it & it's water intake. Hopefully my husband learned his lesson & will not let it dry out again as I've learned my lesson not to depend on him to take care of our plants!! ;-)
