The black velvet Alocasia I received is very healthy and is the size described in the listing. I bought this plant in early March and it shipped with a heating pack and was wrapped in foil insulated bubble wrap to insure it didn't freeze during shipping. The plant protected in a smaller box to ensure minimal movement and wrapped in plastic wrap over a paper wrap to secure the leaves and soil. No leaves were damaged and soil was still moist. The plant looks very cool, and the leaf is definitely velvet looking. It wasnt very big, about 4 inches tall, it came with 3 corms growing but it wasnt potted in a good soil medium. I recommend you repot it into a chunky soil mix when you get it.
