The media could not be loaded. I was apprehensive about purchasing the set due to the price. I had looked at other sets where one of them had legs and one of them didn't. Which quite frankly, didn't make any sense to me. I read the reviews and decided to take a chance and try it. I am so glad I did! They are super easy to clean, easy to fill, easy to take apart and put together. I had them on the low level for my chicks first week, and I just moved them up to the lowest leg level, and they're working beautifully. It keeps the chicks from jumping up and fouling out the water and the food. Or kicking all the food out. These will work perfectly until my chicks are big enough to go into the main flock. The only thing I was disappointed about was that they weren't available in red. LOL!!

I got these to raise a second clutch of four chicks for our coop this year and needed a smaller set of water/feeders. I've used several Roosty's brand chicken supplement products and figured I'd support them by spending a few more bucks on trying their feeders. The plan is to convert these over to supplement water and grit once all of the chicks are together in the coop, so the hanging features will be perfect! Pros: - Good size for smaller clutches; wouldn't recommend for more than 6 chicks older than 3 weeks old. (I'm using this with 4 chicks that are currently 3-4 weeks) - Easy to top-load food (see cons) and wash waterer. - Love the three height levels to grow with chicks while keeping the feeder/watered *mostly* clean (one of our chicks is a chronic roosting critter who will probably be a lifelong problem if we can't get her fat enough as an adult, so she finds a way to poop in both on the daily. 🤣) - I LOVE the extra locking function built into the waterer base. Be sure you use it, though! I didn't use the extra "click" once and it did leak. Otherwise the water retention is BRILLIANT! Cons: - The angle of the feeder wastes a TON of food. Worst of any feeder I've ever used. 🙁 The chicks can easily throw the feed out and even scratch it out. - Filling the feeder is a mess! It's a top load, and the lid is sturdy and easy to remove (pros), but you have to catch *just* the right angle to not bounce all of the food out of the holes in the bottom, creating another mess. Still practicing, so there could just be a learning curve with user error, but it's still quite the mess after having these a few weeks. - (This note is all on me and not paying attention! 😅) The waterer holds less than I'd like, but it is a good size for washing out every day. I wouldn't recommend it to actually keep your flock hydrated as the singular water source. So in summary, I'd give the waterer a 5 stars for a small waterer, and the feeder 3 stars because of the functionality flaws that create food waste. Otherwise, I'm pleased with how these work and am glad that they are sturdy enough to transition into supplemental feeders once the chicks are a single flock.

Was supposed to receive 2 feeders and 2 waterers. Received instead 2 complete feeders, 1 complete waterer, and 1 waterer top and an extra feeder bottom. 🤔😩 When we went to use the one complete waterer, one of the legs was broken. It kept slipping out of the plastic "slot" and would not stay in or stand up level. It still works if hung, but the reason I purchased this particular item was for the flexible set up that it offered. So disappointed because the concept is a great one. Be nice if it came with a chain and S hook for hanging...

It is not even a month & the water feeder is leaking. No matter how much I tighten it, it won't lock properly. For a minute there won't be any leak, then it starts gushing out. I cannot return this thing now. The chicken feeder is ok though. Waste of money.

The media could not be loaded. I’ve raised hundreds of chicks, and tried all of the things. This feeder and waterer set has it all! Doesn’t tip, anti drown moat, so easy to fill, and LEGS! Can I get a hallelujah for the legs!? Chicks scratch and kick up their bedding all day (as this is natural for them to learn). But this can make a huge mess in their food and water. The legs have 3 levels and can be raised up as they grow. The handles are so easy to lift it in and out and filling them is a BREEZE. So trust me, I’ve done the homework. Stop here, save yourself the time, and buy these. Happy chick raising!!

I like them. Great size for brooder. The legs can pop off or fold in, causing the water to go everywhere. When it popped off, I managed to get it back in. When it folded in, water just spilled. Great to have the top load feeder.
