Great product!! Spent so much time looking for a reasonably priced murphy bed and this one was worth the time in finding. All other look exactly the same so I really liked how this one had a little more character with the pattern on the 'doors'. It was a substantial task to put together but nothing that wasn't expected. It took my partner and I a couple of hours over a few days to complete it. Could easily be completed in one day. We have gotten many compliments on this. Also very easy to put up and take down. We did have an old extra think mattress (around 14 inches) and it did not fit. Ended up finding a 10 inch think one which fit perfectly.

Protective packaging was outstanding. Incredible engineering as to pre-drilling fastener holes, etc. Instructions were clear and well illustrated. It is quite a project to assemble but just takes time and patience. Highly recommend using a battery screw driver or drill with allen wrench and phillips screw driver bits to save time and fatigue considering the large number of fasteners required to install. Just need to purchase a mattress and we're done. This bed is far superior to others researched with a much more solid and firm base for a mattress. Others have weak looking slats. Solid reinforced wood mattress base with this one.

Delivery and installation went smoothly. The bed is sturdy in use and attractive looking when stored away. The bed is easy to raise and lower. Install took about 8 hrs, all parts were included, assembly instructions were clear. Only small complaint was the instructions/hardware for connecting to the wall were planned for connecting to a solid wall, such as cement. Most people have cavity walls (sheetrock over lumber) and so I had to do that part on my own. If you are not comfortable with locating studs in your wall and securely fastening the bedframe to them, you may want to have a capable person assist you with that part.

The media could not be loaded. We have received our bed and are putting it together. Be aware it says it requires 3 people and directions are long. Also know that while it takes time, the company will respond to emails if you have questions. Ok! Here is a video showing exactly how the bed looks and operates. Our ceilings in the guest room are only 8 ft so assembling and positioning something that is this heavy and 7ft tall was challenging. We are so beyond happy with the results though! The bed is simple to open and close and feels very sturdy and secure. We did attach the bed to the studs in our walls for security. Be aware that you will have to remove moulding on the part of the wall that the bed will be attached to. End result is great and we are very happy with our purchase!

The media could not be loaded. It is made of decent wood and I think will be a very good extra bed for our family comes home. We liked the fact that we could have a thicker mattress. We bought a 12 inch memory foam mattress and that will fit great. My husband is very handy but to give you a heads up he has at least seven hours into putting it together. He did most of it alone, there were a few things I helped him hold and getting it set up to the wall. The stepladder is there because he’s fastening it to the wall right now. He was pleased with the instructions, they were quite thorough. The only thing I’m not impressed with is little white sticky dots that cover the screw holes where they are countersunk but I can live with that. we were very limited on space to have an extra bed so this was perfect answer and we looked at many Murphy beds and the “buffet” style look online and in furniture and this one met our needs and at at decent price point. ($899 + tax). I added the video a little later and a photo of the “snooze test”! We wish we would have had room for a queen size but the full size will do for most of our needs.We love it!

The media could not be loaded. Took a long time to build, but is worth it. Love my bed and it is so easy to put up and pull down. Fits perfect in my studio apartment and my friends think it's the coolest thing I have! It's sturdy and the real deal. 10/10 would recommend.

Turned out looking really nice, not too terrible to assemble. It does take a little bit of time. Easy to fold down to use, and it goes back up very quickly. We have a standard full size mattress on it, and it worked great.
