It is not sweatshirt material, it's thinner and has no warm fuzzy material on the inside like most sweatshirt material. I bought size xl since I'm usually XL on loose crop tops and this fit perfect. It's not hoodie material but it will work for fall weather. I can wear it with jeans and my belly ring will show or just use a high waisted legging. You can also wear a tank top under since is not that warm.

This is such a cool hoodie.. I love the sunflower print and the crop style is so cute. The material is bit shiny which was not as per my expectations but somehow it looked pretty good when worn in person. Material is not too thick but manages to keep you warm. Looks perfect with a high waisted distressed Jean's, track pants, high waisted mini skirt or any pair of your favorite Jean's. As for sizing, I'm a size small, height 5.5". I ordered a small and it looked great! Overall it's a fun hoodie to have and I absolutely loved wearing this with my mom style distressed Jean's.
